Chapter 7: I am moody every day

"Ah, Martin?"

Martin was fixing his suit when he was called by a familiar voice.

Taylor? What are they doing here?

"What are you two doing here?", he asks with a puzzled look.

"No, what are you doing here is the question."

Martin and Claire stand across from each other in a lobby area of the building.

Claire has her arms crossed while she looks at Martin with an eyebrow raised.

Meanwhile, Martin coolly looks at her, staring at her all-red outfit, and Taylor behind her.

"So?", Claire impatiently inquires.

"And stop scrutinizing my getup, well you?", Claire sassed at Martin.

This girl... Can she not stop being rude? Jesus!

It's their second time meeting but he feels like he's got enough of her discourteousness.

Martin ignores and looks past her to Taylor.

Taylor waves at him but didn't say anything.

Why are these girls here anyway?

In all the places, why did they have to meet there?

"It seems you liked red so much. Anyway, have a nice day,"

Martin nonchalantly commented and walked past them--or attempted at least.

He was immediately blocked by Claire.

She was still crossing her arms, but now she's looking at him as if urging him to speak in a 'speak or else' manner.

"Claire...", Taylor softly calls out reminding Claire that they should not create a scene in the building.

"Get out of my way, Claire. I have a more important matter to deal with."

In the end, it took Martin a few minutes before Claire let him go, all thanks to Taylor.

Why was she there anyway?

She told him she wasn't a celebrity, so what was she doing in an entertainment company?

He wasn't certain how he would feel if Claire posted a picture of him the night they have dinner on her social media, then later found out she's a celebrity.

Monday morning came quickly; it's the most exhausting and stressful day of the weekdays for Martin and Anthony. With the additional duty as Class 5 representatives, it became worse.

Students would often try to skip the Monday Flag ceremony, so now, they have to check every corner of a 7-story building of their Class 5 building; it includes the rooftop, bathrooms on every floor, the library, utility room, and even in the ground floor.

If that wasn't bad enough, they have to have an encounter with the 5 infamous bullies known to all Class 5 students on their first day in duty.

"The Mr. Perfect and the painter, what a surprise.", Liam--the leader of the gang-- sarcastically said followed by his and his friends' maniacal laughter.

His friends gave him a high five seemingly proud of him.

Martin didn't really understand what's so funny.
