『 creating memories together 』
"Does this prove my comfort?"
There was no reason to argue about the boy not being comfortable. He seemed more than comfortable caged beneath him on his bed, looking dazed and happy. After Tsukishima initiated a kiss, he found it unsettling to make out in the kitchen. So he carried the boy to his room for their comfort.
Much to his ease, the kiss didn't escalate to anything. Although previously he had wanted to escalate things, now he truly believed knowing the other person and closing the gap between them bit by bit is more sensible. Moreover, he actually had never been this utterly affectionate about someone before Hinata.
He chose to reply with a light nod, still hovering on top of the redhead, quietly staring down at him. He looked just the way he was supposed to look under him. Perfect.
Hinata, however, was getting restless. He wanted the man to speak up and fill up the unpleasant silence. He took it on himself to strike a conversation again. "Impressive, you know?" He spoke up, reaching out to push the man's glasses up as they slid down a bit. "I thought you'd drop them right in my face."
"Tch! You really know how to spoil someone's mood, huh?" Tsukishima tutted, rolling off of the boy, finally setting him free. He sat up with a click of his tongue. It still didn't actually affect his former pleased self.
Hinata swallowed his chuckle as he didn't want to bother the man anymore. "I was being appreciative." He decided to roll over and perch himself over his elbows rather than sitting up.
"I don't perceive it that way."
"How many times do I have you kiss you for you to perceive things the way I do?" Hinata was quick to counter teasingly.
The blonde couldn't help but chuckle at the absurd question. If he kept answering Hinata's random questions, they'd never stop bantering. "We'll see that." Tsukishima answered briefly. "The tea's still pending." He tried to change the topic with a dull remark and even stood up from his bed to show his disinterest in the stray conversation.
It didn't even take a minute for the other lad to mirror his steps and follow him to the kitchen, all while humming some unintelligent tune under his breath. This sequence of things including the kiss, their previous conversation, Hinata's randomness, his humming, and now the eager padding of footsteps following him made Tsukishima calmly duck his head and smile smoothly to himself. None of this ever even came into his imagination. All of this was a new feeling to him, a whole new experience. Much to his glee, he really adored this feeling. He exceptionally doted on the boy and secretly loved to cling on the very feeling Hinata unknowingly offered him.
He wasn't sure how long this feeling would last, but he certainly wished to feel this way for a long time.
