Chapter 10 : Back To School

Through out their holidays, Naruto and Sasuke spent a lot of time together.

They went out a couple of times but mostly just lazed around at each other's places, either gaming, reading manga or just talking endlessly about trivial things.

After spending that much time together, Naruto felt more at ease with Sasuke and wasn't as shy as before.

And Sasuke was as usual, super gentle but teased a lot.

In just a couple of days their vacation was about to end, and it felt all too soon for the lil blonde who was yet to finish his holiday homework.

He sighed for the nth time, wondering when this torture would end.

He felt a hand gently stroke his hair, he pouted at the raven who was petting him.

"Just a bit more and you'll be done, so stop sulking now", Sasuke smiled.

"I shouldn't have postponed it until it was this late", he regretted his own actions.

Sasuke chuckled, "True.. I should've asked you to do it with me sooner, I didn't know you were yet even start it"

Naruto whined, "Why didn't I start it sooner~"

Sasuke laughed, "Too late to regret it now so let's finish it soon, I'll help you too"

Naruto nodded thanking him for the help.

Sasuke was already done after just an hour since he'd started doing his from the very first day of their vacation. But now he was helping the blonde to finish his sooner.

The last couple of days before their holidays finally ended were spent in the same way, with Sasuke helping Naruto complete his work.

And before they knew it they were back at school.

After just a week since their classes resumed, they were told to stay prepared for surprise pop quizzes.

So unfair~

Naruto hated going right back to studying but Sasuke convinced him otherwise, which landed them back at the library.

It was late in the evening by the time they were done so they decided to walk together half the way and head back to their own houses.

"We haven't done anything couple like for weeks now", Naruto whined as they walked.

Sasuke smirked, "And what's couple like?"

Naruto thought about it seriously, "Going on a date? But it's not like I wanna go out somewhere though", he scrunched up his face, looking hella troubled.

Sasuke chuckled, "It's actually been around three weeks since we last went out somewhere, you sure there's nowhere you wanna go?"

"not really... But I wanna do something else that's couple like", he whined.

"exactly what is this couple like anyway?", Sasuke laughed amusedly, putting his hand around the blonde's shoulder, casually leaning on him.

"I wonder?", he tilted his head, looking clueless, "cuddle maybe?", he thought out loud, blushing at his own words.

Sasuke smiled widely, "do you wanna stay over at my place today then?"

Naruto gaped, "for real?!"

"Yeah, I'll make sure to properly hold back and not jump you", he chuckled.

"will you be sleeping in the same room this time then?", Naruto hesitantly voiced.

"How else can we cuddle", Sasuke smiled lovingly.
