The next morning, Sasuke got up earlier than usual to freshen up and went back to his room. He got ready first and went over to wake up the blonde who was still sleeping soundly.

He sat on the bed. Letting his fingers get tangled up in the blonde mess, he leaned down and whispered in a soft voice, "Naruto.. Wake up.. didn't you want to revise again before going to school..", Naruto groaned, making him chuckle, "wake up, sleepy head", he kissed his temple, then his cheek, moving down to his chin, and he was about to kiss him on the lips when he felt the blonde lightly pushing back, so he moved away without getting his morning kiss, just a little disappointed.

Naruto blushed like there was no tomorrow as he quickly pushed him away, "Stopppp.. My morning breath stinks, don't you dare kiss me right now!", he exclaimed, wide awake.

Sasuke laughed, "you don't stink one bit.. So will you let me kiss you?", he teased.

Naruto looked away pouting, "no!.. You can do that after I brush my teeth..", he trailed off, blushing.

"Then I'll take your word for it..", he gently ruffled his hair, smiling.

Naruto rushed off to freshen up and get ready. Sasuke was just too bad for his heart so early in the morning.

As soon as Naruto was ready and back in his room, Sasuke promptly wrapped his arms around him and stole a kiss, ever so gently.

He let him go immediately though, going right back to taking out the books they'd need to revise over their exam syllabus.

Naruto felt like all the things he'd cramped into his brain last night would fly right out of his head all because of that kiss. He tried his best to concentrate on revising.

There was still some time before breakfast and they were planning to study till then.

Before they knew it, it was already time to leave, so they quickly had their breakfast and left for school.

Naruto was extremely nervous but it went better than he'd expected it to.

It felt like forever till they were done with all their exams. But the results were out in the blink of an eye.

He scored way better than he thought he would, all thanks to Sasuke. So he asked the raven if there's anything he could do to thank him.

Sasuke chuckled and said there's no need for him do anything. But when Naruto insisted that he really wanted to, he said that a date was more than enough as thanks.

So they ended up going to a movie, then Naruto treated him to lunch and they had an all in all wonderful time together.

Soon after that, summer vacations started, and it hadn't even been a day before Naruto already started missing Sasuke.

It was ridiculous how easily he missed him. He wondered if it would change once he's older. But right now, he just missed him endlessly.

He was moping around in his room, joblessly laying down and staring at the ceiling, when he received a message from Sasuke.

It said that he wanted to come over and stay till around 7 in the evening, he was asking if it was alright if he did so.

Naruto sat up straight, almost bouncing on his bed as he replied back and happily asking him to come right over - sending every cute excited fox stickers and hearts he had in his sticker collection as he did so.

It was so easy to tell Naruto was missing him, even without him having to say it out loud.

Sasuke was there after a couple of minutes and Naruto excitedly led him to his room. The nervousness he'd felt when Sasuke had come over for the first time, completely dissipated and forgotten about.
