I Love You So (Mikey)

"Hey Mikey, do you still see us being together in 10 years?" You asked Mikey, you are both currently sitting on a swing in the playground.

Mikey had asked you to hang out with him as he claimed that he misses his pretty girlfriend.

Mikey chuckled at your question, and looked at you in the eyes whilst saying, "Y/N-chin, what kind of question is that? Of course! We'll be together until we get old. You'll never escape me." Mikey stated as he showed you his toothy grin.

You smiled at his response, satisfied with his answer.

You and Mikey started dating in middle school, you met him when Takemichi introduced you to Mikey and Draken.

It was a funny encounter, you were walking home with Takemichi when Draken and Mikey bumped with the both of you. At first, Mikey accused Takemichi of cheating on Hina and you just laughed at him which made him mad and throw his usual tantrums.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me. Takemitchy, I thought you love Hina? Why are you cheating on her?" Mikey huffed, arms crossed in his chest and a pout visible in his face.

Takemichi is just simply trembling and scared that he can't form a sentence. "M-Mikey-kun, i-it's not what you think!" He stated as he tried reason out with Mikey.

Draken just decided to add fuel on the fire when he backed up Mikey with his questioning glare and asked, "Huh? Then what is it? We saw you both laughing and goofing with each other."

At this point, Takemichi is now in complete lost, he doesn't know how he will explain the situation.

"Hey you! You're too quiet, who are you? Don't you know Takemitchy already has Hina?" Mikey asked you, still annoyed with the fact that Takemitchy might be cheating with Hina.

You thought to yourself before answering their question and an idea pop up in your head, you decided to play their little game.

"I do know that Takemichi and Hina are dating." You answered, smirk plastered in your lips.

Your answer made Takemichi tremble in fear as he saw Mikey grew more annoyed. Mikey almost pounced Takemichi on the spot but stopped dead in his tracks when he heard you laughing.

"Sorry, I just can't help it." You said after your fit of laughter.

"What's funny, huh?" Mikey asked as he glared at you.

You just smiled at Mikey and said, "I'm Y/N Hanagaki. Takemichi's cousin." after your introduction, you bowed at them.

This made Mikey and Draken shocked, somehow they forgot that you just might be a relative of Takemichi. The duo got embarrassed at their antics and apologized for their accusations towards you and Takemichi.

"No worries. It's fine. We're good." You reassured them.

"Why are you smiling, Y/N-chin?" Mikey asked as he stood from the swing and squat in front of you.

"Hmm, I just remembered how we met." You replied, making the blonde blush out of embarrassment.

"Y/N-chin! I told you to forget that. It's really embarrassing." Mikey whined as he kneeled in front of you and hugged your waist.

"Why would I want to forget the day I met the man I love?" You replied as you stroke his blonde locks.

"Alright. I'll let it slip this time." Mikey said as smiled at you lovingly, looking up at your face.

Mikey stood up in his position and dusted himself. He extended his hand to you and you accepted it. Mikey pulled you in a tight hug. He kissed your temple and placed his head on the crook of your neck.

"I love you, Y/N. Promise me you will never leave me, okay?" Mikey said as he inhaled your scent which never fails to make him calm.

"I love you too, Mikey. I'll be by your side, always." You replied as you rubbed circles in his back.

Mikey smiled at your response. He gently break free from the hug as he cupped your face and planted a soft kiss on your forehead.

"We'll always be together, I promise that Y/N."

10 years had passed and you still can remember the day you met him. You smiled to yourself as you reminisce all your memories with him, good or bad, happy or sad.

You were getting ready for your big day. Make up applied neatly on your face. Your wedding gown hugging your figure delicately.

"I'm so happy for you, Y/N." Takemichi said as he wiped his tears.

"You're still a cry baby Takemichi." You chuckled at your cousin.

Everything feels surreal. You just dreamt of marrying the man you love but today, it's really happening.

"Let's go Y/N. Everyone's already waiting in the church." Hina said as she helped you with your wedding gown. "You look so pretty, your wedding gown looks so beautiful on you." She added.

"Thank you, Hina." You smiled at her.

You are now walking down the aisle, trying to stop yourself from crying. Mikey looked at you lovingly and he started to tear up.

"You look so beautiful Y/N. Just as what I always imagined." Mikey stated as he wiped his tears.

The ceremony has started. Everyone is silent when the priest had asked,

"Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace."

Silence enveloped the whole church as there was no one who would want to oppose your wedding. The priest continued the ceremony.

Everyone was shedding tears when the priest pronounced, "Y/N Hanagaki and Takashi Mitsuya, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

In the far corner of the church, Mikey watched the whole wedding before his eyes.

"Are you sure you made the right decision? We can still kidnap her. Just say the word and consider it done." Sanzu spoke from the leader's back.

"No. This is the right thing. She deserves happiness and I won't be able to give it to her." Mikey replied.

"But are you happy?" Sanzu asked.

"No. But if keeping her safe and happy means that I have to suffer, I'm more than willing to bear all the weight of it."
