You've been spending time with Chifuyu after he got rejected by his crush because you want to make him feel better but mostly, you just want to spend more time with him.

There are times wherein he, Baji and you would hang out altogether. Be it in Baji's house or you would just watch the duo as they kick some rival gang's ass.

"Y/N! Stop being a shit head and give us our peyoung yakisoba!" Baji said, annoyed.

You three are in Baji's house, hanging out like always.

"I told you to stop bringing Chifuyu whenever you decided to set some cars on fire!" You spat back at the jet black haired man.

"Duh, it's a great way to relieve some stress. Right Chifuyu?" Baji smirked then cocked his head on the blonde.

"Well, it kinda felt good." Chifuyu sheepishly said as he rubbed the back of his head.

This kind of conversation became normal between the three of you. Baji always causes trouble and he always drags Chifuyu with him, you on the other hand, is the one who keeps the two chaotic boys at bay.

It was a quiet morning, you and Chifuyu are just walking side by side on your way to school. You were just admiring the clouds while silently humming to yourself.

You didn't noticed that Chifuyu was looking at your side profile, smiling to himself.

"I'm lucky to have you." Chifuyu said out of the blue which made you turn your head towards him.

"Did you say something, Fuyu?" You asked, head tilted to the side.

"Nothing at all." Chifuyu replied with a big grin in his face and you just shrugged it off.

As the two of you reached the school, a letter dropped from Chifuyu's locker.

"Is that a love letter?" You teased him, trying to hide the pain.

"Yeah, it says they'll be waiting for me at the school garden after class." Chifuyu replied, gaze not leaving the letter.

"Cool. Guess someone had a crush on you after all." You said, keeping your cool.

Chifuyu's POV:

The school bell rang, signalling that the school hours has ended.

"Hey Fuyu. I'll be going first, I have a piano practice today." Y/N told me as she tidy up her desk.

"I'll walk you there." I told her as I walked towards her.

"Don't be silly. You have a love confession today, right?"

"I'd rather walk you to your piano class." I bluntly said as I tried to grab her bag away from her.

"No, thank you. I can manage. Also, this might be your chance to finally move on from your crush." She said and gave me her close eyed smile.

"If you say so."

I walked towards the school garden, in all honesty, I really don't want to come here. Id rather go with Y/N to her piano practice, I'd rather hear her play than to be here.

"Chifuyu. I'm glad you came."

Shock was an understatement to see the one who rejected me, my crush.

"Oh, hey. Is it really you?" I asked, masking the nervousness in my voice.

She smiled at me and nodded. Damn, she looks so pretty today and it's giving me the butterflies.

"Yeah. I just want to ask, if maybe we could still be together? I really regret rejecting you." She looked at the ground while saying those words at me.

"What changed your mind?"

"Well, I really got jealous when you started hanging out with Y/N. I saw how you treated her. I saw how you truly cared for her. I want to be her, I want to be in her place."

I smiled at her confession, "Well too bad, you will never be her. In fact, I'd like to thank you, because of your rejection, I was able to see whom I really love." I bowed at her and left her gasping like a fish.

I hurriedly walked towards the building where Y/N would always have her piano practice and lessons.

I saw her bowing down to her teacher. Her face was painted with confusion when she saw me waiting outside.

"Fuyu, what are you doing here?" She asked, brows furrowed.

"Can't I pick you up?"

"You can. Anyways, how's the love confession?" She tilted her head whilst pouting. I mustered a lot of strength to not kiss her.

"Well, it went great."

"Really? Did you get yourself a girlfriend?"

"Nope." I replied to which made her confused once again. "Because I still haven't asked her to be mine. Will you help me practice?"

"Of course! You can tell them what you love about them and then ask them to be yours." Y/N giggled.

I took a deep breath, it's now or never.

"Y/N, I really like you. I love how I don't get butterflies when I'm with you because you make me feel safe. I love how I get lost in your e/c eyes whenever I stare at them. I love every little things about you. I love you, just the way you are. I may have been a fool for not noticing it before but, Y/N you are the one I love. Will you be mine?"
