“I said I was sorry, what more do you want from me?” Sanzu half shouted at you once you both entered your shared apartment. You've been giving him the silent treatment all through out the ride home from the restaurant. You didn't answer him back and you just cower in fear on the couch, afraid that he might lay a hand on you.
"Why won't you answer me?" Sanzu asked sternly as he stared at you intensely, boring holes in your body.
Taking big steps towards the couch. He harshly grabs your face, squishing your cheeks. "Fucking. Answer. Me."
"I-I'm sorry Haruchiyo, I know you're busy but I still made a fuss when you stood me up on our dinner." You replied as your tears stream down your face. You're genuinely scared of him when he's mad. No one knows what he can do.
"Good. You know it's your fault that you insist on having a dinner date." Sanzu says calmly as he releases his grip on your face only to land a slap on your left cheek. "Go and wash yourself, let's go to bed." He casually said as he walked towards your shared bedroom.
As you went to bed, Sanzu hugged you from behind. Nuzzling his face on your hair and his hands are rubbing circles on your skin.
"Baby, you know that I really didn't want to hurt you right?" You nodded as a response. "It's just my anger taking over me. I'm never gonna hurt my sweet angel." He said as he planted a soft kiss on your shoulder.
You cried yourself to sleep silently, afraid that Sanzu might catch you crying. It's not the first time that Sanzu slapped you but you're still not used to it. You're loving and caring boyfriend was long gone. He was now replaced by a monster who keeps on manipulating and invalidates your feelings and emotions.
But still, you stayed. You stayed no matter how harsh he treats you because you love him, and that's what good and understanding partners do, right?
"That never happened." Sanzu said as he rolled his eyes on you.
The both of you are in a café, Sanzu insisted on taking you out on date today, to "make up" from last night's happenings. At first, you were delighted, thinking that he might really felt bad on not showing up on your supposed to be dinner date, but your giddiness died down the moment he flirted with another girl.
The girl was standing in front of him in line, grabbing the water she asked from the barista when she "accidentally" tripped over Sanzu's shoe. Of course, your boyfriend being the gentleman he is, he catched the girl by her waist and asked her if she's fine. He even winked at her when she thanked him which left her flustered and as red as a tomato.
"You were flirting with her." You say with a voice low, almost afraid to voice out your thoughts.
“Don’t be dramatic, Y/N. I'm just helping her." Sanzu lazily replied as he sipped his coffee. "Let's just go home after this. You ruined our day."
"I'm sorry." was all you could reply as you lowered your head, trying your best to hold back the tears that are threatening to fall.
Sanzu noticed it and he brought his hand to your face whilst saying, "Hey baby, I'm sorry you think that I hurt you." smiling softly at you.
You just smiled at him weakly, not wanting to give a fight anymore.
Just like any other day, you let him win. You've let him treat you this way because you love him. This is just his way of expressing his love for you, right?
You smiled to yourself as you remember all of your idiocy.
"The things you can do for love." You stated. You were currently sitting on a park bench, just watching some kids run around and playing with each other.
You have decided to leave your toxic relationship with Sanzu. It's just like, one day you finally woken up to your senses and you have decided that you're already done with his manipulative personality.
You've got to admit, it's really hard to leave the man you love but for the first time, you actually thought about yourself.
It was hell for you for the first few months. You got so used being emotionally controlled and being dependend on him, that deciding for yourself became hard. But luckily, you have the most supportive and loving family. You were able to get back on your feet again and heal from the trauma.
However, you didn't know that Sanzu is suffering. He got so used with you being by his side at all times that when he got home that day you decided to leave, on an empty apartment, he swears he could hear his heart shatter.
He laughs to himself thinking that you've finally come to your senses. He'd be lying if he will say that he does not miss you. Hell yes, he fucking miss you everyday day that even being intoxicated by drugs cannot contain his cries and pleas for you to comeback.
However, as much as he wants you back in his life, he knows that he will only repeat the same mistake he did. So there's nothing he can do but watch you from the sidelines. Even though seeing you smile and all bright and happy, not because of him, clenches his heart.
I hope you feel what I felt when you shattered my soul.
A/N:
IDK about this chapter but I want some angst with Sanzu. I just want to be sad.
Anyways, I'll be unpublishing Koko's fic for the time being, I need to finalize the plot and I'm kinda having a mental block as I'm not really good with writing smuts. Lmao
After this I Love You So series, I'll write dating scenarios with Toman. I'm having too much Bonten brain rot, I didn't noticed I haven't written anything for Toman.
