Seeing Abigail head upstairs to get dressed and gather her school essentials brought a warm smile to the alpha's face. It felt like this was some norm he was living when it came to Will and Abigail being around him. Hannibal yearned for this life. He wanted to spend more time with the lovely child he wanted to raise as his own. Will was in love with the idea. Now, the alpha just needed to make sure it was something Abigail wanted.

Excitedly, Hannibal dressed in his elegant and pressed suit he picked. The idea of taking Abigail to school was just special and indescribable. The simplest times with the little wendigo made him smile. Others might find it odd for him to be elevated to just send her to school, but it made everything feel real. A parent would take their child, whom they loved and cherished dearly, to school.

There were countless trains of thoughts going through his mind while he thought of everything going on today. Sure, he would endure his patients - unfortunately Franklyn was on the list. However, everything after was worth putting up with all the events before. Picking Abigail up (if Will could not), seeing Will and Abigail and the two being in his home with him again.

“Hannibal?” The alpha wendigo was at the bottom of the stairs waiting for Abigail. When he heard her soft voice, he spun around to see Abigail walking down the stairs.

Hannibal awed at how precious she was. One day, he would hope she would give him the title of her father. He could only wish for this, of course. It would be up to her later on.

“Let’s go, Abigail.” Hannibal answered before extending a hand out for her. The little wendigo approached him and took his hand in hers. Hannibal could sense the trust radiating off of her. He would never put her in a situation where he would in any way betray her trust. She meant a lot to him, so he would never wish to harm her.

The car ride from his home to Abigail’s school was full of little Marissa Shurr. Hannibal has heard much about Abigail’s best friend.

"You should meet Marissa one day, Hannibal." Abigail blurted out after the alpha began driving away from his home.

Hannibal smiled. He would love to meet Abigail’s little friend. By meeting her dear friend, it would feel like he was settling more into Abigail’s life. He was not lying when he said he wanted to be a big part of her life. He would be in paradise the day she referred to him as her father. He felt anger well up within him for the alpha that was supposed to be Abigail’s father. He did not deserve Will or Abigail.

The alpha swore to protect them with his life. He would never break that promise ever.

"I would love to meet her, Teacup." Hannibal answered, earning a sweet smile from the little wendigo. He hoped both his beloved wendigos would have a good day today. He could not help but think of his omega though.

He would hope his beloved would never have to find out the truth about him he would rather keep hidden. Jack did not know he was the Chesapeake Ripper. Neither will his mate.

The alpha wendigo already welcomed them into his home, so there seemed to be no issue deciding to spend another day over. Will knew Abigail would have no problem, heck she may prefer it over their motel room. Earlier he received pictures from Molly of Wally and the dogs. He got homesick just looking at the furry companions waiting to be picked up and brought to Baltimore.

It was nice to have something to distract them at the moment. Will was pleased that Hannibal wanted them to live with him. He knew it was all different for Abigail, but she seemed to have no problem with the new arrangement. Will thought it was sweet. All those thoughts went to back of his mind when he got to work though.
