JENNIE KIM POV

"I've got the test results, and it's amazing. Jisoo's judgment is accurate, you two are great," Mr Won Bin, aka Kim Do Jin, founder, and chairman of Arcanum, said, waving two sheets in his hand. The four of us were in his study. His wife smiled next to him, looking at me and Chaeyoung in turn. They are both good people. And during the one year living here, they treated me and Chaeyoung like their own daughters. I'm so grateful that I can feel like I have parents again.

Right. After my resignation from SCPD was over, I immediately moved here because, during training, I was required to stay in The Arc.

Arcanum's headquarters, The Arc, is located on one of the islands in the Sea of ​​Japan. The island is unmapped and undetected. Around this island are very high and steep cliffs, make it impossible to enter here by ship, so people who happen to cross will not be able to get down and enter this island. Although, that's something that won't happen because the demographics of the ocean surrounding the island make it unapproachable.

Approaching ships are threatened by strong currents that can throw ships against the cliffs. As for barges or other large ships, it is impossible to approach because of the many sharp corals that surround the island for several kilometers. So the only access is by helicopter. Making this place is perfect to be used as the headquarters of secret agents who are not known by anyone other than the UN and high-ranking officials of several trusted countries.

Helicopters themselves cannot enter randomly because in every corner of the island there is a radar connected to The Arc system so that foreign helicopters that do not belong to Arcanum will be marked as enemies. Airplanes cannot reach this place because there is no runway. And no commercial planes pass through the island because it's not on the flight path.

In the middle of this isolated island, surrounded by dense forest, stands a building that looks like the Arcanum Logo when viewed from above. This triangular-shaped building is massive with complete facilities. With a place to live on one side, a place to practice on the other, and other facilities.

Oh yeah, actually there is one more way to get into this island, it is through the underwater by using a submarine. But then again, only those who know their way well can access it, as there are many traps in the secret passage that lead to the underground passages of The Arc. From the outside, The Arc is just a super large building with 5 floors and above, but actually, 5 more floors can be accessed, it's the underground part.

Kim Jisoo mostly lives here because she is a technician. But it's possible she's off the island or even in the field on missions. Bae Joo Hyun also mostly stays at the HQ when not on a mission. Like yesterday's mission as a supporter of Lisa Manoban, she is required to stay in Seoul. They have several residences scattered in several major cities around the world, or if needed, they will live in rented houses.

The income earned by Arcanum is a huge amount because, after all, this job is life-threatening. They also have several businesses to support operations. The people who work here are chosen people and must receive several years of training. But as Irene said, because Chaeyoung and I are from the police force, we have important basics, so we don't need the same amount of time as the others. In this one year, we have shown good progress.
