LISANDRO MANOBAN POV

Unlucky. Where should I look for it? There's no way I'd know of her existence in a city of this size. I've been walking around Valdo Bykov's stripper club since this morning, but I can't even see her shadow. If she happened to be walking in this area, I would definitely know since there weren't many people walking around on this gloomy day.

Since sunrise, the sun's rays cannot penetrate the thick clouds. Making the atmosphere of this cold city even more gloomy than usual. It seems the sky understands me well because that's my current mood. Gloomy.

I walked over and stopped by the café to warm myself up while having breakfast before continuing my walk and hoping, who knows, she might be seen. But as the morning, the day goes on, I'm getting more and more pessimistic. After all, what I did was quite stupid and very random.

'Should I ask Rattle?' I thought to myself as I passed an ice cream shop. I wonder who goes in there. In this cold weather, they can still eat ice cream. I give my thumbs up. If I could, I'd give them all four thumbs up. With a climate like this, I'm sure it will snow again today. I hope it's not a storm.

The dark road beneath me felt colder and colder. I have to wrap my scarf around this afternoon. And my nose started to turn red. So I better stop my search for today and prepare myself for tonight. I have to plan something, and I have to get the information. But how to approach and persuade Giselle without having to do something she wants?

Maybe the best way right now is to drag her out and be friends with her. So as usual, tonight I'm going to the stripper club to approach her, and who knows the woman with feline eyes will appear there. Right! Since she was on the same mission as me, she had to approach Valdo Bykov. And to approach him, the easiest place to meet him is at the club.

What a fool I was doing this early. I was hoping she would show up tonight because I wanted to talk to her right away. I don't want to delay it and want her to leave this mission completely to me immediately.

I don't need a partner, much less, Kim. I don't want her here.

"Hi," I greeted Giselle and sat next to her on the barstool. She looked at me with raised eyebrows as if in disbelief because, for the first time since she tried to seduce me, I approached her tonight.

"Well, hello, handsome. It's surprising for you to approach me," Right as I thought. She must have been surprised and wondered why I was approaching her tonight. Not like the usual me. I replied to her question with a mischievous grin and called the bartender to order my drink.

"Nothing. I just want to chat with you. Yeah, because there aren't many people I know here," I finally answered after she just stared at me with sparkling passionate eyes. A wide smile tugged at her lips, which were again, covered with red lipstick.

"Looks like it's my lucky day," she said teasingly as she leaned towards me. "Are you tired of that blonde Barbie? I can do a lot more fun than her," she whispers in my ear. Her breath hitting my ear made me shudder. Not because it was fun, I just got goosebumps.
