I write this Writer's Corner just as a reminder for me as I write this book. Something that excites me and makes me feel like it's all a coincidence, which - now that I think about it - is totally unexpected. Read it if you want. If not, no problem, this is just some not-important thing. LOL.

1.

Initially, I planned to give book 1 the title Friend or Foe. But along with the ideas that popped up in my head, P.E.T.E.R became the title of the first book that tells about the introduction of a secret agent with a code name : PETER

(I mentioned the phrase "Friend or foe" in chapter 26 of P.E.T.E.R and made this writer's corner after translating that chapter from my native language to English)

2.

The name P.E.T.E.R and the cover itself actually provide clues about the essence of the story. The colors black and white represent two worlds. Dark and light. Bad and good. Crime and Justice. The original cover I've made was the one in A/N on P.E.T.E.R, but then I modified it to add gray, which means there's something in between the two worlds. The undercover. And Peter who did the undercover on both sides at once.

The letter "T" in P.E.T.E.R was shaped like a cross, indicating death. Peter's death at the end of the book. Fake death.

Recently, I found something unique again from the title P.E.T.E.R. It's a unique coincidence. P (Stand for Peter) and R (Stand for Ruby). If I can call it to be an unimportant coincidence. :D

And why is P.E.T.E.R not PETER without a dot between the letters? The reason is so ridiculous, just because P.E.T.E.R seems longer and better than plain PETER.

3.

ARCANUM is the main title of this series. Because that's the point, Secret Agent. Arcanum is taken from Latin, which means "Secret". And this all fits with their next name, which is their HQ name. "The Arc", which I originally wanted to call "The Ark" because of its location in the middle of the sea like an ark, but in the end, I took the leading part of ARCANUM, Arc, into "The Arc" which has a similar pronunciation. That was one of the reasons that supported my final decision to give the main title ARCANUM.

The Arc itself represent an arc. That's why I took the location in the ocean between Korea and Japan because of the shape of the Japanese archipelago that resembles an arc.

Why is it located in the ocean? Because I couldn't find the suitable hidden location on the mainland. Besides, the ocean area was wider and less easy to find, that's why I chose the location of the Arcanum HQ in the middle of the ocean.

(Additional note : this got me thinking about something else. Uhm... Secret for now but you will know it)
