My name is Psalmist Jeans. I'm just your average, twenty-two-year-old, girl next door. It's just my parents, older brother, and I. We didn't have much growing up. My mom was a cafeteria worker at my elementary school, and my dad was a janitor. Poor? Yeah, you could say that. We lived in the projects. My brother dropped outta school and started selling drugs at sixteen. My parents were really devastated by that. Therefore, I did all I could while in school to get a scholarship for college. Once I graduated high school, I went on to Hampton University with a full-ride academic scholarship. As a college graduate with a degree in Journalism, all I tend to do is stay home and curl up with a good book. I am a hopeless romantic. I just want that one guy to share my love with.

Who am I? The name is Damien Carter. I'm 26 years old, and I'm from old money. My grandfather started an oil refinery and construction company. My dad took over once my grandfather died. You would think with all the money I got, I wouldn't need anymore, but you know what they say. Money is the root of all evil. Yeah, I got greedy. When I was thirteen, I started selling drugs.
