"Man, where the fuck is Hunter!" I yelled, walking into my spot.

"We haven't seen him in about three weeks, Boss."

I was about to lose my fucking shit. Like, where the fuck was my product going? I've had six shipments stolen in the past three or four months. My boys have been telling me they saw some of Saint's guys on the scene. That means that nigga has been stealing my shit. He must really wanna go to war with me. I don't mind giving that nigga what the fuck he wants.

"What the fuck been going on with my shipments? There gotta be a rat or something around here. Everybody knows what days the shipments are coming in. Have y'all niggas been running your fucking mouths?"

"It's gotta be Hunter, Boss," Rome spoke up. "He's over shipment, and he hasn't been here."

That shit did make sense. Like, where the fuck is this nigga at anyways? I gotta pay this muthafucka a visit. Making sure my crew was straight was not only for their benefit but also for mine. So when I need you, I ain't gotta go searching for your ass; I already know where the fuck you are. I grabbed my keys and my phone and headed for my car.

I drove for about twenty minutes until I pulled into Hunter's driveway. His car wasn't in the garage. It looked like he had just pulled back up. I parked beside his car and got out. I knocked on his door about four times before he came to the door.

"Scar, what are you doing here?"

"Where the fuck you been, nigga?" I asked him, busting through his door.

"What you mean, Scar?"

"We ain't seen yo ass in almost three weeks. Where you been at?"

"Damn, my bad. I was supposed to call you and let you know I had to see Grams. She ain't been feeling well. My auntie took her to the hospital about a month ago. I have been back and forth with them. They said Grams got cancer."

"You think I'm a fool, don't you? Yo grandma been dead nigga!"

"Fool, this is my dad's mom. I don't fool with that nigga, so I really don't speak on that side of the family. But just because I don't speak on them doesn't mean I don't love my family. I just don't fool with my dad. My grandmother and my aunts are straight. I talk to them."

"Hunter, if I find out you're lying to me, I swear I'll kill you."

He walked over to the bar in his kitchen and grabbed an envelope. He handed it to me. The return address said St. John's Baptist Hospital. I pulled out the papers inside, and it was X-rays, doctor notes, and discharge instructions.

"There you have it. You can see I ain't lying to you."

I kept the papers and then left. I went home to my sister. I pulled up to her place, and it looked vacant. I had to figure out how to get to Saint. A lady was standing outside her home next to the For Sale sign.
