Psalmist
Once I was downstairs, I was bawling my eyes out. Tyson was coming through the door, and I ran straight to him. He wrapped his arms around me. At that moment, I felt so secure and safe."Did that muthafucka hit you?" Tyson yelled.
I just shook my head no. "I wanna get outta here."
"Come on, let's go," he said. I was so shaken up that I didn't notice the guys that came with him. "Where are your keys?"
"I left them in my locker upstairs. My purse is up there too. I was so scared."
"Kirk, go up there and get her stuff and drive her car to my place."
He picked me up and carried me out to his car. He buckled the seatbelt up across me. I didn't care. I never wanted to see Damien again.
I rested my head against the headrest. Tears fell freely from my eyes. How could someone so gentle and loving turn into this monster towards me? I was nothing but good towards him. This is how he repays me?
I felt myself being lifted. I searched my surroundings realizing we were at Tyson's house. I rested my head on his shoulder. He was such a lifesaver. I could count on him for anything.
Once we got inside, he carried me to his room. He sat me down and then walked off. I was still tryna wrap my head around what the hell had just happened. How could he be so angry when he's the one that disrespected me. I didn't do anything wrong. All that because I didn't wanna work for him anymore?! And let's not even discuss how he fingered that girl while I was in his office. I was in complete shock!
Tyson came back and sat on the bed with me. "Are you okay?" he asked me.
"Yeah, I am now," I said leaning over to lay on his shoulder. "What about my stuff?"
"Kirk is on his way here now. He said he didn't see your phone."
"It's in pieces all over his office floor," I answered.
"Skittles, what the hell happened?" Tyson asked me.
"I turned in my two weeks notice last night. I emailed H.R.." I went on to explain exactly what happened. Even about what he did with that girl and how he called me outta my name.
"That nigga seriously fingered that bitch in front of you?" I nodded my head. "You know I'ma kill that nigga?"
I laughed. "No, don't do that," I told him. "I saw your handy work too." I laughed again.
"I swear I almost murked that nigga." He shook his head. "Go in there and relax. I started up the jacuzzi for you. I'll have some clothes ready when you get out."
