Lev had finally pulled into his dark driveway, all the nights inside his house already off. That must mean his mom was already sleeping. He looked over to Jentzen, feeling bad that he'd have to wake him up. The sleeping boy truly did look so peaceful. "Hey, umm.... Jentzen..." he whispered. Nothing. Jentzen didn't even stir.
Lev furrowed his eyebrows together. Dang, he's a heavy sleeper. Carefully, Lev lifted Jentzen's head off of his shoulder where it was still resting and got out of the car, trying not to slam his door as he closed it. He walked around to the passengers side and carefully opened Jentzen's door, undoing his seatbelt.
He placed one arm under Jentzen's legs and another around his back, carefully lifting him out of his seat bridal style. He managed to lock the car, unlock his front door, and carefully carry Jentzen through his house all the way into his room. Finally, he gently placed Jentzen down on his bed. Luckily, Lev didn't find Jentzen very heavy to carry.
He looked down at the boy for a moment, seeing he was still in his clothes (obviously). He awkwardly stood for a second, wondering if he should... change Jentzen into some Pyjamas? No, no... that's weird. That's definitely weird.
Although, it's not as weird as sleeping in tight jeans... that's surely gotta be insanely uncomfortable. Lev compromised, deciding he'd at least take off Jentzen's jeans for him, and he could sleep in the shirt he was already wearing. He awkwardly went to unbutton and unzip the fly of his jeans, feeling like he was doing something wrong, even though he was just trying to be a good person.
'It sure would be awkward if Jentzen woke up right now,' Lev thought silently to himself as he yanked the jeans off of Jentzen's legs. 'What would it look like?' Lev thought again, shaking his head as he tucked Jentzen under his bed sheets. Normally, Lev would climb in next to Jentzen as usual and the two would sleep in the same bed as they always did, but since Jentzen wasn't really wearing any pyjama pants and Jentzen might feel awkward about the situation when he wakes up, Lev decided against it.
Just as Lev turned around to leave, he felt a hand reach out and grab on to his arm tightly. Surprised, he turned around to see Jentzen had grabbed ahold of him, however his eyes were still shut firmly closed. "Where are you going" the sleepy boy mumbled. Lev swallowed hard, feeling nervous.
Without a word from Lev, Jentzen spoke up again. "Stay" he protested, lazily pulling Lev down on to the bed. Lev sighed, moving over to his side and getting under his covers. He pulled off his own jeans, slipping into some sweatpants he had by his bed and pulling his shirt completely off as it was rather hot in his room.
"Goodnight" Lev mumbled, turning his body away from Jentzen so he was facing his wall. Jentzen was already falling back into his deep sleep, however he turned over towards Lev's direction and aimlessly draped an arm over Lev's shoulders.
Lev was surprised, realising Jentzen in his sleepy state probably didn't realise what he was doing, and yet regardless, for the rest of the night, Lev didn't move out of his best friend's embrace.
