Lev's pov

I let out a deep breath, feeling the sunlight that had crept through my window shine down on my closed eyelids. For some reason, this morning I wanted to do anything but wake up - I wanted to lie here in this moment forever, feeling an indescribable warmth and safeness I didn't usually wake up to. Warm... everything was so warm... but why?

That's when the events of last night rushed back to my mind. I slowly opened my eyes, and sure enough the answer to my questions were answered. Next to me was a sleepy Jentzen curled up, an arm sprawled across my stomach and his head leaning on my shoulder. He looked so peaceful, so soft in his sleep, that I decided I'd try anything not to wake him up from it. Perhaps I can sleep here forever, perhaps we can both lay here with our eyes closed as the rest of the world slowly fades away behind us in our wake.

This fantasy daydream didn't last long as I felt something shift beside me. Jentzen whined, reaching up one of his hands to rub his sleepy eyelid as he slowly began to drift out of his slumber. After a minute of two, his eyes slowly began to creak open and he became aware of his surroundings. At first, he furrowed his eyebrows, not recognising the room around him to be his own, but soon it seemed the brief memories of last night returned to him as well.

He slowly looked up, his eyes glaring into mine with an indescribable intensity. It seemed at this point he noticed how he had clung himself to me in his sleep and awkwardly shuffled back to his side of the bed, removing his arm and his head from my body. I couldn't say I wasn't disappointed at the loss of contact...

He cleared his throat, his eyes wandering around my bedroom last night aimlessly. "Does Liana know im here?" He asked firstly. I nodded, even though he wasn't looking at me. "Yeah, don't worry, I texted her last night and let her know" I informed him. He nodded back in agreement. "Cool" he hummed awkwardly.

A few more moments passed in silence before he lifted the covers up and looked down, his eyebrows knitting together. "Where did my jeans go?" He questioned, sincerely confused and with a lack of memory.

I shot him a wide-eyed look, my face growing red from embarrassment as I thought of how to answer this question. "Uh-" I began, but luckily before I could muster up a messy response Jentzen cut me off.

"Well, thank you for taking them off for me! There's nothing I hate more than sleeping in jeans, it's the most uncomfortable thing ever, especially skinny jeans. Sorry if that was awkward for you, but you could've slipped something else on me-" he replied, not finishing his own sentence as a laugh escaped past his lips.

I smiled at his response, running his words through my mind. 'Sorry if that was awkward for you'. After the whole situation, and he was the one worried it was awkward for ME while I had been worried it was awkward for HIM. I picked up a bottle of water from the side of my bed, unscrewing the cap.

"Well sorry sir, but it's not my job to dress you, I'm not your mommy" I joked, lifting the bottle to my lips to take a sip of water. Jentzen stifled a laugh in response, smirking as if a good joke to respond with had sparked in his mind.

"Well it's not your job to dress me cause you're not my mommy, but it is your job to undress me, because you're my...daddy?" He asked, trying to keep a serious tone.

My eyes widened as I choked on my water, coughing profusely. "I-" I began, before choking again as Jentzen broke out into a contagious, uncontainable laughter. "I'm just joking with you, don't get so scared like that!" He admitted, patting me on the back roughly to help me stop choking.

A few minutes passed with us teasing each other back and forth, laughing and making jokes before I finally stepped out of bed. I realised I was still shirtless so I went over to my closet to grab something to wear when I noticed a small note taped to the back of my bedroom door. I paused in utter confusion, carefully pulling the letter off and looking over it.

Immediately I could see it was written in Russian, which told me the note was from my mother. I read over it.

"Hello Lev, I came in this morning to see if you got home safely last night as I fell asleep before you got back. I see you have Jentzen with you. I'll be gone by the time you read this, so take care of him and make him something to eat. Oh, and please give the poor boy some pants to wear.

-Mama"

I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly, connecting the dots that if Irina walked in on the two of us sleeping earlier, it must have been quite the sight - me shirtless, Jentzen pant-less, cuddled up into my side...

I fought off the heat that had flushed to my cheeks just thinking about it myself, deciding to try and push the image out of my mind all together and finish grabbing a shirt. I decided to put on one of the shirts I had bought with Jentzen yesterday, before walking over to my draws and rifling through some clothes.

I pulled out some grey sweatpants and flung them at Jentzen, walking out of the room to give him some space to change. Before leaving, I turned to him and said "come out when you're ready, I'll be making breakfast". He nodded in response, and finally I walked out the room, closing the door behind me. Today seemed as if it was going to be a great day, I could just feel it in my heart.
