Andra POV:
The next day I woke up at 9AM and couldn't find Kai next to me. Then I remember that we were at Jo's house
I get out of bed and find Kai talking to Jo in the living room. As I walk inside the room, Jo looks at me with a warm smile and Kai stands up walking towards me
He gently grabs my waist and presses a chaste kiss to my lips "good morning" he whispers
I smile "good morning"
"How do you feel right now?"
"Good, tired but good although it does feel weird-you know, being human after 1,000 years" I reply
Kai nods "yeah me and Jo were discussing how to reverse the spell, in fact I'm going to go meet up with a few coven members today, and you can spend the day with Jo and Caroline and I don't know have a girls day or whatever. You deserve it"
I chuckle "alright stay safe I love you"
Kai gives me a bright smile "I love you too"
Kai walks out the door and I turn to Jo "so what are we doing today?"
"Well, you clearly need a break after your whole life turned around in one day so lets just relax and chill today" she tells me and I smile
"I would love that Jo, let me call Care" I tell her and she responds with a smile
I call Caroline and she picks up after a few rings
"Hey Care! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me and Jo today?"
Caroline replies in a sad and low voice as if she'd been crying "um hey Andra, sorry, I can't, my mom got sick again and I just have to be there with her"
My face drops immediately "oh my god it's ok! I'm sorry I'm coming to the hospital right now"
Caroline sniffles "wait, no that's way too dangerous for you and I promised Klaus that I'd keep you safe just stay in with Jo"
My heart ached at the idea of not being there for Caroline during this time and I tried to protest "but-"
"No buts Andra stay home, don't risk your life for me"
I sighed "I'm sorry Care"
"It's okay"
I ended the call and turned around to see Jo staring at me
"What happened?" she asked
"Its Caroline, her moms sick again and I feel terrible for not being able to be there with her"
"Oh god I'm so sorry for her" Jo says and I nod

After a while, me and Jo started talking about other things, trying to get my mind off of everything
While walking into the kitchen, I accidentally stubbed my toe at the foot of a chair
"Owww" I yelped, grabbing my toe
"Oh are you okay?" Jo asked
"No, damn humans do not have it easy" I whine
Jo chuckles "yep we do not"
"Hey by the way, how's your pregnancy going so far?"
"Pretty well, I only have a few more months left"

Baking, eating and watching movies with Jo was basically all I did today
Around 8pm, Kai came back to Jo's house
"Hey babe" he greeted me before kissing me
"Hey Jo"
"Hi Kai"
"Alright, thanks for being with her today, we should head back but thanks for everything Jo" Kai tells her
Jo gives Kai a warm smile "you're welcome"
We head home and I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow
I'm not used to getting this tired
