I wish for you to see these words I write 

I wish for you to hear the melody I compose

I wish for you to notice...

this burning heart, this aching soul.

A fire raging at a civet's speed

Inadvertently or not, you fuel the flames

Hotter than hellfire, wild and untamed

One second I am teased, the next, unclaimed.

You say you love me, and I do too,

But your comely affection is just not the same

My love, it has a different aim...

My mind ashamed. Heart maimed.

The fire burning within sends throes of pain

Searing through my veins

Rising and falling like the shimmering blue waves of the ocean,

That kiss the shore and flow back without gain.

I am the wave to your coastline,

I am the tide to your moonlight,

Forever aspiring to achieve, to claim

That beautiful heart of yours, I fantasise without shame.

Thy heart is but a lotus, pure and true

And mine can only serve to soil its brilliant hue

I know where your heart lies, where your smile blossoms anew

Only she can make your heart flutter like the butterfly blue-

Then let me be the bubbly surface to your sea

Let my bubbles of comfort help you join with the air —

That summer breeze you so adore.

I'll ignore my soul, torn and sore,

I'll help your angelic heart soar

My ripple of reality will shower you with solace galore

Just to see your elysian smile once more.
