The two boys found seats near the library's windows before Tadashi went to a nearby shelf pulling a massive book from its clustered shelf. Dust fell as the book was set on the table.
"This might help with learning it beyond me if you wish to get into the heavier details, but I can teach you the basics. Do you want to check this out?" Tadashi asked politely,
"Uhh, could you perhaps find a smaller book with fewer words and more pictures?" Shoyo requested.
Tadashi set off until he found a newer copy of Quidditch Through the Ages and checked it out for Shoyo.
"Here you go." Tadashi smiled, handing Shoyo the book, "Now let me explain all the positions..."
3 hours later
"Shoyo, I already told you this. A bludger can legally hurt a person, okay. It's part of the game." Tadashi said, patience wearing thin.
Shoyo's face read of disbelief, "What about murdering a person?"
Tadashi stood up, "Shoyo, I explained everything, and dinner has already started okay. Just read your book for more questions. I will be going to dinner now."
"Oh, Thanks, Tadashi!" Shoyo exclaimed, watching Tadashi gather his things.
Madam Pince appeared around the corner, marching towards Shoyo, who had also worn her patience thin way before Tadashi's.
"Get out!" She shrieked,
Let's say Shoyo hauled ass out of there.
Sitting in the standard room after dinner, Shoyo opened his book and read into the night but had to put the book down to ask about some unfamiliar words like Animagus's, which intrigued him very much.
He took the stairs up slowly. Shoyo finally climbed into bed when his clock read, 2:48 am.
Squinting his eyes, Shoyo rolled over in bed towards the window only to see the quidditch pitch occupied again. He was perplexed at the thought of someone flying at almost 3 in the morning. He dressed quickly and ran towards the pitch only to be disappointed at the blue-colored crest and unfamiliar face.
Despite the minor disappointment, Shoyo stayed and observed the flier's obvious talent, thirsty for the power that the flier possessed.
Shoyo went unnoticed for a few minutes before the flyer stopped a few feet from the bench the orange-haired boy sat at.
"What are you doing." The person speaking had chocolate brown hair swept to the side and a slightly smug voice.
"Watching you. What else would I be doing?" Shoyo replied, confused,
The boy scoffed and flew close to Shoyo, hoping to frighten him away. Shoyo released a dog-like sound.
"You're not trying to spy for Gryffindor, are you?" The boy asked,
Shoyo shrunk back, "No."
"Well, I would suggest you leave. My team will be arriving very soon." He swept his cape to the side, obviously showing off. The back said Oikawa.
Shoyo left the pitch a little on edge, afraid he might be jumped by a group of muscular people, but also confused on why a team would fly at this godforsaken hour.
————————————————————————
As the weeks progressed, Shoyo's love for quidditch kept expanding to the point where Gryffindor quidditch players would avoid him and his pestering, but Shoyo had yet to even fly or step foot on the quidditch pitch. Shoyo's flying classes have only been covering the safeties and basics recently, but the Ravenclaw boy with the last name of Oikawa gave him an idea.
