People claim that time flies when you're having fun, and before he knew it, Shoyo was packing his bags to return home for the holidays.

After Halloween, things quieted down a bit, and Shoyo was left bored and waiting for the cozy train ride back to Natsu and his mom, who had not stopped writing him letters since the start of term. Shoyo had failed to mention the troll incident, as he didn't want to worry his mother, yet he was dying to tell Natsu about it.

Classes were ending as Shoyo made his way back to the common room. He was going to change into something comfy for the study group. Shoyo had become a regular within the group's ranks, always asking questions. In this study group, the students had sections of a sort. Upper-level students with above-average skills in a particular subject would help kids in that area.

Shoyo mainly hung out with Sugawara, who had expert essay writing knowledge. He also worked with Keiji Akaashi, who had the best drawing and writing skills. Akaashi was a quiet boy who surprisingly hung out with potentially the loudest member of Gryffindor, Koutaro Bokuto. Bokuto never tutored anyone, he didn't even come to the study group most of the time, and when he did, it was to hang around Akaashi.

Today, however, Shoyo was going to study some science. He was never the best in Muggle school, but he realized this information was essential for life.

Throwing a sweater on, he picked up a couple of books he was given from the people he studied with and raced over the classroom. Today, they had borrowed Professor Flitwick's classroom.

"Over here, Shoyo!" The boy, Kenma Kozume, whispered in a semi-loud voice. Kenma then proceeded to look away, embarrassed.

Shoyo was going to learn about science from Kenma Kozume and Kuroo Tetsuro.

"Okay, we will start with the elements of the periodic table," Kuroo announced, grabbing a heavy textbook from his book bag.

Two hours later, Shoyo's brain was throbbing and begging him to leave.

"And that's it for today!" Kuroo closed his book and smiled down at Shoyo, who collapsed onto the table and groaned.

"Why are there different types of bacteria?! They all do the same thing." Shoyo cried,

"Well... never mind, you should probably go pack Shoyo. Happy Holidays!" Kuroo and Kenma waved as Shoyo sulked out of the classroom.

Not surprisingly, once Shoyo arrived at his dorm, he procrastinated and decided that a nap was in order.

He remembered laying down but immediately fell into a slumber. Now, as he wiped the eye boogers out of his eyes and dried the cold sweat from his forehead, he glanced at the window and saw the sun was up.

"Oh my god! I missed my train!" He turned about to write a letter to his mom but stopped when his alarm clock brightly showed the time, 4:32 pm. The sun was setting.

Shoyo grabbed his forehead, silently lecturing for his stupidity. Muttering insults as he held his suitcase and threw clothes, quills, and paper into the bag, unorganized.

Shoyo planned to bundle up with a book on the train and get some reading in before the holidays. He wondered if Kageyama was going home to his family. He stopped short when he realized Kageyama never talked about his family. The only hint was that he was very good at quidditch, indicating many years of practice and hard work. He would have to ask him. Shoyo would join him if he were heading home, Shoyo was almost going to join Tadashi and Tsukishima, but the glare sent by the taller blonde made Shoyo rethink his request.
