Being grounded hasn't been a tragedy. She has watched doramas, series, listened to music, caught up with the mangas, manhwas and manhuas she follows; the temptation to propose a way out hasn't crossed her mind. Has even been able to dust off his hobby of painting. She's not great at it, but it makes her happy and that's enough. She noticed the date and Jeonggoo's birthday is in two days. She's still a little annoyed with her. Jimin knows in the end it's not her fault for egging her on, but that Jeonggoo take the subject in such an ugly way is what really upset her. She should understand that her parents matter a lot. Not see them as a hindrance and annoyance.

"Are you planning to do something special? She's your girlfriend."

"I still don't know if we're girlfriends. I don't know if that's what she wants or just hanging out. It wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me." Jimin replies to Taehyung who mumbles under her breath in disgust.

"I promise you that's what she does want" Jimin snorts. Taehyung wanting to convince her of a non-stop saga. "Whatever. Do you have something in mind?"

"Yes I do, but I'd have to ask my parents for permission."

"They'll tell you yes."

"I don't know. This time they're right for it to be a straight no."

"Leave that part to me!"

Jeonggoo wrinkles his nose as he smiles, everyone in Bangtan sings birthday to him with a giant cake with clumsy and messy decoration. He blows out the candles, receives congratulations, applause, silly comments and so on. He gets some gifts like earrings, rings, sportswear, the occasional plush doll, it's lovely. Jin's was a bit strange, it's a reservation in a rather expensive hotel in an area that they don't travel for the same reason. Namkyung's turned her face red and she couldn't help but close the bag.

"Why? I mean... Why?"

"Even I use one on Jin when there's a lot of liquor involved and he's craving for it. Don't be anxious, just enjoy it." encourages Namkyung smilingly. Jeonggoo is still red. Okay, but hasn't she heard from Jimin? They haven't talked all week and today he hasn't shown any sign of life either. Jin enters the room and sees Jeonggoo in a bad way.

"Fix yourself up You're not going to go to a meal like this!"

"Meal?"

"Didn't they warn you? Jimin is taking you to lunch" He drops his jaw slightly. "Hurry up, before something happens like every year."

Jeonggoo has the bad luck that every birthday, there's a misfortune. Flood, gang coming to mess up, a freak accident, no light at the skate center. Anyway, it didn't happen. Jin leaves a bouquet with a box of chocolates.

"They are from Taehyung and Hosook. They were afraid to come and give it to you, so they asked me to be a fucking carrier pigeon" he complains in disgust. "So I kept a couple of chocolates. Naaaam, come with me to work, will you?"

"Are you afraid to go alone?"

"No, I'm lazy to drive and have no one to talk to on the way."

Jeonggoo looks at the bouquet. It's from Taehyung. It has a very nice note on it. He is struck by the fact that it comes with a picture of a rather large dog.

Wouldn't you like to adopt it?

He mentioned to her at some point that he would like a big dog to play with. He didn't think Taehyung would consider it. He leaves everything neatly laid out to get dressed.
