As soon as she sees her dad in the living room, she knows there is a problem. It strikes her that Taehyung is also here and he doesn't look her in the face. She doesn't even understand what he is doing here. Mr. Park asks her to go over there. Ms. Park finishes drying her hands and comes over.

"Taehyung told me that you went to Mr. Jeon's apartment yesterday."

Jimin furrows her eyebrows, giving her best friend a quick glance.

"Is that-"

"I told you more than twice and I don't care what excuse you have to give me-" Interrupts the man with annoyance and crossed arms. "You can't go near that man. I won't let you. Is that how you intend to go to Seoul alone? Without even knowing how to get away from someone?"

"I didn't go for the sake of it. Jeonggoo was there. He needed help."

"Honey, we believe you, but at the same time why not report it? What is she hiding that makes her avoid the police?" drops Ms. Park. Jimin and Taehyung get nervous.

"She's just afraid. That's why she doesn't report it."

"Jimin, the truth."

"Th-that's-"

"I know Jeonggoo is part of a gang" Jimin tightens her hands on the shirt. "I know she had something to do with what happened in that apartment. I'm not stupid Jimin" The dancer turns red and tearful. "You've been lying to us all this time about the injuries she had. You got together with a dangerous person who could be a terrible threat to you."

"He's not! I know he's not. I didn't want to lie to you, I really didn't. I was scared that this conversation would happen and I would be banned from being with her.... Nothing bad happened Right?" He turns to Taehyung who nods effusively despite it being a lie.

"We're fine."

Mr. Park doesn't look convinced.

"I want to make it very clear that I continue to dislike this. I don't think I'm the type of people you should have as friends."

"Jeonggoo is different. She's not like you think. You know her! Being in a gang doesn't change everything else! And... and... and she doesn't interfere with me. She's never tried. She's...

"Your partner."

He pales with abysmal rapidity Since when does her dad know so much!!!?

"That's why you're defending her isn't it?"

"Honey, we're not upset that she's your girlfriend, that she's gangsta! We're upset that you're lying to us," Mrs. Park clarifies to her tearful daughter. She never puts up with these conversations. "As maturely as you have already decided to go to Seoul, we want you to assure us that you know what you are doing about Jeonggoo."

"That he's really not a threat to you.

"He's not." she says tearfully. Mr. Park sighs.

"I feel like she's left over, but keep in mind that, if she causes or intrudes on you, you should stay away from her. As much as you love her, this kind of person is usually troublesome."

Jimin nods and goes to her room as they tell her to do. Taehyung follows her and it becomes obvious how suspicious Jimin looks at him. The teenager bites his lips nervously before giving his reasons:

"I just wanted you not to take risks like that again I'm worried about you! You won't listen to me! I want you to be okay you're people around Jeonggoo want to hurt you. I-I'm just worried about my best friend."

Jimin's annoyance lasted for about fifteen minutes. She can't be mad at him. She knows he really meant well, at least she doesn't have to hide holding hands with Jeonggoo or kissing each other anymore.
