Jeonggoo enters the hospital without permission and goes through all the corridors in search of Jimin. Takes more than an hour in the process. To avoid nurses and doctors who would question him about her presence. Finds her in a very special room, it has a huge glass that allows to see inside if the curtain is open. This is not the case.

Jeonggoo prepares to force the door, however, it was not even necessary: the door is opened from inside by Mr. Park, who looks at Jeonggoo with surprise.

"I'll call you back later honey" He hangs up the call "How dare you be here?"

"I-I want to see her. I want to-"

"No! You're not going near Jimin again!" dictates the adult in noticeable alteration. "If you do I'll call the police and I'm not going to give a damn! What more can you want!? Haven't you done enough already!?"

"Just... she's my... girlfriend. I want to see her and- I want to be with her." stammers Jeonggoo, scared. Mr. Park looks at her the same way Kangdae does:

Wanting her to disappear and never see her again.

"You have no right to come near. Because of you" his voice cracks in such a way that Jeonggoo is shocked. "Because of you my child- my baby is in there. Because of you that they did all that to her If it wasn't for you this wouldn't be happening! She should be in Seoul now... fulfilling her dream and not here without having woken up even once."

It's impossible not to sense his urge to cry. The way his face turns red and he looks so much like Jimin when anger makes her want to burst into tears.

"She had nothing to do with this. She didn't do anything... Just trusting that she was important to you Wasn't that enough for you? Absolutely everything we did for you, everything we gave you, everything we offered you and you gave her back like this."

"I didn't mean for it to happen! I wouldn't have let it happen if I could! I would have tried! What don't you see?" Jeonggoo lifts up his shirt and shows the badly bandaged wound. "We weren't doing anything and they wanted to-"

"I wish they had killed you and then she would have run away. Get the hell out of here."

Jeonggoo is left with slumped shoulders and fails to see anything inside the room when he returns inside. Sniffles and looks at the floor. It's not his fault. Didn't ask to attack them or wanted to act tough in any way. They were just standing there, talking. Why would it be his fault?

For being part of Bangtan Why wouldn't it be your fault? She says to herself mentally, sitting in a corner where it is difficult to see her. She calls Namkyung to tell it's going to take longer. She has to wait for Mr. Park to leave the room before she can go in.

. . .

"Yes, yes, take it easy. Keep at it. You come in the day after tomorrow if she still doesn't wake up... She's still the same" Jeonggoo leans in a little to hear better. "It's just a coma and not vegetative state according to today's checkup" He rubs his neck wearily. "I'll go eat something now Shall we talk later...? No, don't come, rest at home."

Mr. Park walks away and Jeonggoo seizes the moment to enter the room. It is dimly lit despite the glow from the machines behind the gurney. He steps to the side and his eyes water instantly. Jimin is pale, her hair a little below her shoulders; the respirator fogging up every so often with her slow breaths; her eye with a thick patch, a bandage wrapped around her head; her arm with signs of having been in a cast. She pulls aside the sheet, finding stitched wounds and more bandaging.

She takes his hand, cold and almost limp, with a poor pulse. He leans back from her, sniffling and crying.

"Minie... Honey, wake up, please."
