28. On your own

"Uh, Jeonggoo, why did you come?"

Jeonggoo approaches, she wears a large sweater, unnoticeable shorts and black boots, a black maya covers pale legs. The gang member pulls at the sleeves of her sweater. Jimin is at Hosook's house. She and Taehyung offered to go over to spend the afternoon watching movies, then study a bit for the upcoming physics exam and continue all night while using their skin care. Mrs. Jung says there was someone looking for Jimin.

"Can I talk to you? Alone. I mean, better place than the entrance of someone else's house." Jeonggoo murmurs. Jimin warns that he will be back soon, closes the door and accompanies Jeonggoo. Hosook and Taehyung watch from the window. The bright yellow dot that is Jimin because of her white skirt and blouse.

"You look pretty today." praises Jimin. Jeonggoo pushes her hair aside.

"Thank you. You look beautiful." Jeonggoo states with a soft smile. Jimin bows her head.

"Did something bad happen? You're coming from the psychologist appointments right?"

"Yes..." They both pause. "I just wanted to tell you that I love you" Jimin smiles with a slight blush. "We, this" clarifies pointing at herself and Jimin. "It's not something I use to escape or have something else. I really love you and I wanted you to know that."

Jeonggoo remains with her gaze down. Today she felt attacked and singled out by the psychologist even though he wasn't someone cruel nor was it his intention. He just gave her to see truths that Jeonggoo doesn't want to accept accompanied by an unpleasant impression: her partner is just an escape valve for all her problems. That she uses Jimin to ignore her problems, to compensate that she doesn't feel loved and that's why she has her there. Jeonggoo argued that this is not so. Of all that is talked about or told to her, that's the only thing she's sure that's not the case.

Because she really loves her.

Jeonggoo really loves Jimin.

Given the case: Bangtan is the way to run away from his problems.

"I love you too, Jeonggoo." She reciprocates affectionately. Jeonggoo smiles shyly and gives her a soft kiss. They say goodbye, Jimin returns to Hosook's house and Jeonggoo walks to the skate center. Stopped by a car stopped a few meters away.

"Don't you guys even know about Jeonggoo?"

Jimin worries. A week without hearing from her and Jin along with Namkyung coming to ask makes it worse. Jeonggoo doesn't answer messages, phone, nothing. Taehyung thinks it's wrong for them to come to the school entrance. Because of this, they are linked to Bangtan. It strikes her that Jin stops Namkyung from having a cigarette and she just accepts it.

"The last time we saw her she was on her way to a doctor's appointment," Namkyung reports. "And she told us she was coming to see you later. We thought she was taking some time with you."

"No, but are you looking for her for something special?"

"Bangtan stuff."

"Don't meddle her in Bangtan stuff."

Jin raises an eyebrow. For a flea, Jimin is bold. Making that face and talking like that.

"She decides what she does" He warns cynically. "Whether to break her teeth for her family or listen to her girlfriend who doesn't want to understand she's doing it for the family" Jimin crosses her arms. "Anyway do you know where he might be?"

"It's not my fault that wild animal is spoiled. I don't have to pay- the threatened one in all this is me!"

Jimin's lips half-open, the school principal gets into his car, still arguing on his cell phone.
