When morning finally came, I wake up to JC.  A weird feeling rushes over me.  I can feel all the tightness in my chest of sadness, but all of the butterflys of happiness.

"Should I call Kian to come pick us up?" JC asks.  I used to complain about stiff matresses.  Now I know what it feels like to sleep on concrete.

"Yes please." I mumble as JC's thumb brushes against my jawline.  My cheeks are stained with tears and dried mascara.  I wonder what we looked like to people walking by as we slept.

I stand up to stretch, my back hurts and I don't want to further publicly embarrass myself.

"Are you okay?" JC cooes.  My stomache flutters and I groan to myself for foolishly letting in another love interest option.

"I'm sorry, my life is one big dramtic play." I groan and throw my hand up in the air in irony.

"You don't need to apologize. None of this is your fault." He reassures me.

I nestle into his chest as JC's fingers dial Kian's phone number.

"Talk to me." I hear Kian's muffled voice say into the phone.

"Hey can you come pick me and Lia up from where you saw us last night?"

"Yes, we slept on the cement." I look up at JC to see his eyes roll.

"Bye kiki" JC says with a huge smile.  I stand up to stretch and get away from my feelings for a couple minutes.

I quietly squeal as JC pulls me by the waist to his side as a car drives by.  The music is so loud, I can feel the base line on through the concrete beneath me. I cover my ears and a scowl spreads across my face.  JC's free hand takes my head in his giant hand and presses it against his chest.  I squirm out of his grip which was unusually uncomfortable.

My heart drops.

I turn to JC and tears stream down my face.

This can't be happening.

"Lia, how do you like me now?" Sam scoffs as he drives the convertable that he's owned forever.

On the back of the car, a banner, reading, "I'm a player" across a picture of me kissing sam, then a picture of kissing JC, then a picture of Kian,  I never kissed kian.  He went to all of this trouble to hurt me.

I can't go two days without crying.  I look back once more to JC.

*JC's P.O.V*

Sam is being such an a**hole.  I would love to march right up to his car, rip that stupid banner off the back and tear it apart piece by piece.  I would love to rip the stupid smirk off of Sam's horrendous face.  Lia looks back at me.

"I'm sorry." Her beautifully shaped lips mouth to me, tears stain her perfectly plump cheeks.  The one's from last night's fiasco haven't had the chance to leave before being rejuvenated by Sam's hurtful actions.

I reach out to her, my fingers clumbsily try to find hers.  But she runs.  Runs faster than I've ever seen her run.  Instead of running after her, I go after Sam.

" You're an a**! You are a disgrace to this flipping world!" I scream to Sam.  Fear flashes through his eyes, but his smirk reappears in seconds.

"You're not going to hurt me.  She would kill you." Sam mocks.

"I beg to differ." I scoff.

I stomp to Sam's hideous car and open his car door, unbuckling his seatbelt and pulling him out of the car,  I push him onto the cement.

"Dude! What are you doing?" Kian yells, almost falling trying to get out of his car.

Sam's knee connects with my gut almost immediately as my fist connects with his jaw.

Soon Kian is pulling me off of Sam.

God, the things I get into for this girl I fell for in less than 30 seconds.

"Sam, what the hell is this." Kian points to the banner lying on the ground.

Sam's silent, only a smirk covers his face, waiting for approval from Kian.

Kian doesn't like Lia, but Kian's not that mean.

"Dude, this is horrible.  Were you even thinking? This could've wrecked her! Where is she?" Kian frantically looks around for her. What's his deal?

"What?" I pant, wiping the spit from my mouth on my sleeves.

When Kian looks back towards me, tears brim his eyes, he seems much more frantic than I could ever imagine.

His eyes dart to one of the tallest buildings near us. I follow Kian's eyes.  He's full on bawling, and by the time I realize it, so am I.

Both Kian and I dart across the street and run to the glass building across the street.

"I can't believe she's going this far!" I scream as I head for the stairs, and Kian goes for the elevator.

I call her phone, but she's not answering.  She's on the roof and I have to get there before she does anything anyone would regret.

I finally reach the top of the building and she's there.  On the edge of the 200 foot building, arms out.

"Lia! No! You can't do this!" I scream and her arms flop to her sides just as Kian runs out of the elevator.

I run to her side, grab her waist, she's trying to break free.  Kian comes to help me carry her off the edge of the building.  I set her down on a wood crate just to the left of the elevator doors.

She keeps her head low, I lightly lift it up with my thumb, and kiss her.  I kiss her harder than I ever have.  To let her know just how much I love her.  I fall to my knees the second our lips dissconnect.

I take her hand in mine, and our fingers magically find their own way into intertwining,

"Please, don't ever.  And I mean ever. Scare me like that ever again." I plea kissing each of her knuckles.

"I'm sorry." I hear her mumble. She can't be.

"Stop." I demand.  She begins to tear up even more.

"You need to stop. Stop blaming yourself for everything that happens in this crazy world." A scowl covers my face.
