(Sorry for the short chapter! But, I need your help for ideas! Thank you all! xoxo~ Lia)
*Jc's POV*
I whip Sam around with one hand. There's no way that he was just going to hurt her, grab her, then walk away. And I swear if he left any marks on her at all, god, he better call an ambulance. I look back at Lia and I see her through the window. She's balling her fists at her ears and burrying her head in her knees that have been brought up to her chest. She's scared. Of me. I look back at Sam and he smirks at me. God, he's an...... no. I have to keep myself under control. I let him go and go back to Lia's car.
"Let me in." I half ask, knocking on the window of the car. She looks suprised and obliges.
I open her car door.
"Let me see your arm." I look her in the eye and she nods, letting me examine her arm. I love how she didn't ask me any questions.
"Did you have any scratches on your arms before?" My blood is rising and my heart is racing. I swear if he scratched up her arm. My thoughts are interrupted by Lia.
"No, I don't recall any." She looks at me, then Sam and then down to her arm.
She's not too scratched up, but there are two scratches in her upper arm that are at least five inches long. I lock the car once again and shut the door. Lia resumes her previous position, and at this point, I don't care if she thinks I'm a monster. I take one look at her, she's staring straight at me. She taps on the window. I look back at Sam, who's frozen. Lia rolls down the window.
"Please, don't hurt him. I hate him right now too. But he doesn't deserve to be beat up again." She pleads and stares into my eyes. God, I'm going down.
"He scratched you, he can't just go around scratching people." I sound like a two year old's mother. Except his punishment will be much greater.
"Well, you can't just go around beating people up! Please?" I decide to ignore her and go for Sam. I barely touch him before I feel someone tugging on the back of my shirt.
*Lia's POV*
"Well, you can't just go around beating people up! Please?" I plea once more.
Jc whips himself around, ignoring me. He runs up to Sam. I have to stop this. My body acts before my thoughts can interfere. I jump out of the window and chase after Jc. I finally reach him, I take fistfuls of the back of his perfect white t-shirt. I plant my heels in the concrete and pull back with all my energy. To my suprise, I'm actually pulling him. I slowly pull and force myself to walk backwards.
"What are you doing?" Jc half chuckles and turns around slow enough so it doesn't catch me off guard.
"Stopping you. Listen, Sam may be a jerk, but you can't beat him up again. Do it for me?" I whisper the last part, hoping he didn't hear it. But I'm guessing he did.
"Okay. Fine. But it's only because," He stops himself and I want to know what he was going to say.
"What?" His cheeks flush and I can tell he's not going to tell me the truthful answer.
"Because, you..... called Sam a jerk." I guess I'll have to take what I can get. I roll my eyes and get back into my car.
Jc follows me in and starts the car.
