A/n : implied/referenced sexual harassment

**********

The doorbell rang, bringing Linda out of her thoughts. "Brie!" She yelled, "can you get that? I'm not really dressed!"

There was no answer, and the bell rang again. "Brie!" When she was met with the same response, she groaned and grabbed her robe. She emerged from her room to answer the door.

She gasped as soon as she saw who was standing in the hallway. She tried closing the door, but he pushed his way in, causing her to land on the floor with a soft thump.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, quickly standing up.

"I just wanted to see you."

"Go away, Jack."

"I heard you told the Dean about our little night together." He walked towards her, making her back away.

She was appalled that he could be so casual about it. "That wasn't what it was, and you know it."

"Tomato, to-ma-to."

She fell over the small step up to their kitchen, flinching when Jack loomed over her. Before she could protest, he took her hands and lifted her to her feet.

"You better be careful. Falling like that, you could really hurt yourself. And we wouldn't want that."

"I'll ask you again- please leave my apartment." Where was her roommate? "My roommate is going to be home soon, any minute now. And- and... you should go."

Jack wasn't planning to leave, but he didn't want Linda's roommate to find out what he was going to do.

He simply kissed her roughly, shoving his hand between her legs, before walking away and out the door.

Linda collapsed against the counter, holding her hand over her heart. What was that asshole doing here? And why had he kissed her like that? Why did he touch her that way?

Brie groaned when she tried the door knob while juggling groceries. It was locked. She jiggled it, "Linda, open up! It's me!"

When she first heard the door jiggle, she curled more into the corner of her locked bedroom. When she heard the banging, she wrapped her arms around the back of her head.

Back outside, Brie cursed and groaned. She put the groceries down and dug in her purse for the key. She mumbled a few more curse words and something about Linda knowing she would be back.

She picked up the groceries and slammed the door shut with her foot once she was inside. "Linda! Where the hell are you? And why the hell did you lock the door? You knew I was coming back!"

Brie put the bags on the counter and started unpacking, "Linda!" She looked up when she heard a door open.

Linda came out of her room looking ragged. But Brie didn't notice at first.

"There you are. What have you been doing? Why'd you lock the door? You knew I was coming back." She finally looked at her roommate. "Hey..."

She rounded the counter and walked to Linda, putting her hands on her arms gently. "What's wrong? Have you been crying?"

"J-" her voice was strained and her throat was dry. She swallowed, "J-Jack came by."

"Jack who?"

"J-Jack B.. Boyle."

"The guy who...?" When Linda nodded, she went on, "why?"

"I- I don't know. He... he came in, and- and ki... kissed me, and touched me.... then he left."
