Chapter 19: Zerlina's spirit

                So much later, Dewey and his friends woke up and found themselves trapped in a black void of nothingness, in another part of the world. They got up as they looked around, wondering how they got here in first place.

"Hello?" Ashlyn asked, only to see there's no response.

"Anybody?" said Jody.

"We're trapped here!" said Becca.

"Thank goodness I found my hat!" said Tiffany as she has put her hat on.

"Has anyone seen my leggings? The floral leggings!" Meg appeared, still barefoot and in her bare legs.

"Oh! The leggings!" Tiffany looked surprised as she picked up Meg's leggings and shoes, "I found them! See? Right next to me!"

"Nobody here," said Austin.

"Is this the end of the Astro-Zodiacs?" said Lauren.

"What do you expect?" Travis looked deadpan.

"Oh, boy..." said Shawn.

In a moment of silence, Dewey looked ashamed for what he got himself and his friends into this mess in first place. Becca walked next to him and comforted his friend, "Are you alright?" She asked.

"What do you mean? I put everybody in danger, Becca," Dewey replied.

"Dewey, C'mon. Cheer up, Okay?"

"How? We ended up being sucked into this portal and we're trapped in a black void!"

"Dewey, listen to me-"

"Leave me alone, Becca. Please," Dewey told her.

Feeling hurt by his friend's words, Becca sighed as she walked away, leaving Dewey alone, "OK, Darryl. I understand. I'll leave you alone."

Dewey has put his hands on his jacket pockets as he sighed miserably. He walked back and forth, thinking to himself when suddenly, Zerlina's spirit appeared in his mind.

"Dewey?" She said.

"Hi, Zerlina," Dewey greeted her.

"Got your life damaged by the darkness, don't you?"

"Zerlina, I got myself and my friends in danger. I was ashamed and I was dismayed that this adventure got them into this big mess."

"Dewey, you and your friends got the amulets from many places," Zerlina reassured, "You were chosen."

"Chosen? The horoscope chose me to use the spirit of Mars, the sign of Aries and those Zodiac powers! Tell me, Zerlina: Why this happened to me and my friends? Why? WHY?!" Dewey shouted.

Zerlina sighed as she placed her hand on his shoulder, "Dewey, you got the Zodiac powers and the spirit of Mars all along, and the sign of Aries inside you. You will always need them," She smiled before she disappeared.

Hearing Zerlina's words, Dewey began to look more determined to save the world and the Zodiac world as he walked next to Becca, "Becca, we must stop Darkiron."

"What?" said Becca.

"Now."

A moment later, Dewey, Becca, Tiffany, Shawn, Austin, Denver, Colby, Jody, Travis, Lauren, Lorraine, Ashlyn and Meg, who's wearing her leggings and shoes, are all gathered together, "Allright, guys. We gotta stop Darkiron and stop the threat."

"What's Darkiron doing?" Colby asked.

"Threatning our world, Colby."

"We have the powers inside us!" said Ashlyn.

"And the spirits!" said Jody.

"And the amulets!" said Travis and Lauren.

"Good! Let's use our spirits to turn into the Zodiacs to defeat Darkiron!" said Dewey.

"That's Right!" said the Zodiacs.

"Wait, wait! Let me tell you: What about my dress?" Meg asked as her friends stared at her, "We'll talk about this later. With the sign of Virgo, I have the spirit of..." The pretty, popular girl continued as she transformed into Chiron again, "Chiron!"

"Pots and Pans!" said Travis as he elbowed Lauren before, he and his twin sister began saying in unison, "With the sign of Gemini, we have the spirit of..." The two siblings transformed into Mercury again, "Mercury!"

"With the sign of Scorpio, I have the spirit of..." said Jody before she transformed into Pluto again, "...Pluto!"

"With the sign of Taurus, I have the spirit of..." said Ashlyn before she transformed into Ceres again, "...Ceres!"

"With the sign of Cancer, I have the spirit of..." said Becca before she transformed into Moon again, "Moon!"

"With the sign of Leo, I have the spirit of..." said Austin before he transformed into Sun again, "Sun!"

"With the sign of Aries, I have the spirit of..." said Dewey before he transformed into Mars again, "Mars!"

"With the sign of Libra, I have the spirit of..." said Shawn before he transformed into Venus again, "Venus!"

"With the sign of Sagittarius, I have the spirit of..." said Denver before he transformed into Jupiter again, "Jupiter!"

"With the sign of Capricorn, I have the spirit of..." said Colby before he transformed into Saturn again, "Saturn!"

"With the sign of Aquarius, I have the spirit of..." said Tiffany before she transformed into Uranus again, "Uranus!"

"With the sign of Pisces, I have the spirit of..." said Lorraine before she transformed into Neptune again, "Neptune!"

After a transformation sequence, the Zodiacs are in their Legendary Astro-Zodiac form, ready to defeat Darkiron with their powers.

"This is it, everyone! We're getting out of here!" said Dewey.

"Got you covered, Mars!" said Becca.

"Awesome!" Tiffany continued.

"Let's fight together! As a Teamwork!" said Travis.

"As a Teamwork!"

The Zodiacs has put their hands together on top of the other hands and shouted: "We're Zodiac!!"

And then, the group blasted off from the black void and flew into the sky before going toward earth. In order to stop Darkiron from turning the world into darkness. Meanwhile, one of Meg's friends, Emmy, is looking at the dark sky along with Travis, Lauren and Lorraine's classmates.

"Since that Meg is gone, why the sky looked so weird?" Emmy asked.

"I don't know! Darkiron transformed it!" said one of the classmates.

"Oh, boy...But, where are they?" said Lorraine's female classmate.

"I think they could be anywhere!" said a male classmate before Darkiron showed up, "Darkiron!"

"Where's Meg? And Tiffany?" Emmy demanded.

"They're toast....forever," Darkiron replied, shocking the inhabitants of Greensboro.

"NO!!!"

"It's time to transport all of you to your DOOM!!" Darkiron continued as he prepared to snap his fingers, However, Dewey and his friends, in their Zodiac forms, showed up and landed on the ground.

"Who are they?" said a man.

"Is that our granddaughter?" said Grandpa Ferguson, Ashlyn's grandfather.

"She is wearing a different costume," said Grandma Ferguson.

"Darkiron!" said Dewey, "You better stop this madness right now!"

"Oh, the kids are in their Astro-Zodiac form. What are you going to do? Kill me to death?"

"Exactly!"

"You sent us to that boring black void and made some selfish wishes!" said Becca.

"We're strong! This is why we're here to stop you!" said Jody.
