Chapter 7: The Crab monster with the Taurus amulet

             Thereafter, the Zodiacs took flight after finding the first amulet. They are on their way to the next destination: Kappa Cancri. They passed many constellations until they went to the constellation of Cancer. The Zodiacs saw many stars and entered into the Kappa Cancri, a similar place who resembled a beach with many features. After they landed, they found themselves inside the star of the constellation.

"Goodness gracious...is this where the second amulet is?" Lorraine asked.

"Exactly, Lorraine. The second amulet is Taurus. I bet that Darkiron is creating every foe in our way," said Dewey.

"Especially for one thing: What if we'll find a crab who is larger than us?" said Denver.

"I know we'll find a crab, Denver, or every crab in our way."

"Hey, guys, Where we'll find that second amulet?" Tiffany asked.

"I know a shortcut, follow us," said Shawn.

Then, Dewey and his friends walked on the beach in order to find the second amulet. They looked at the sea as they saw many trees and some Crab-shaped clouds in the sky. They walked, walked and looked around where they saw two signs which showed both ways, left or right, "Where this shortcut will take us?" Colby asked.

"Let me see: The sign on the right says that the amulet is located on it," said Becca as she pointed to the right, where a mountain ridge is located.

"A mountain ridge? I don't want to be involved in mountain hiking. I'm going home," Meg started to leave.

"Meg! We're in Kappa Cancri! This place has a beach and a ridge, girl!" Tiffany stopped her from leaving.

"C'mon, you guys! Let's go to the ridge! Follow my lead!" said Dewey.

Dewey and his friends went to the right as Meg gulped in fear. They started a long walk to the ridge of Kappa Cancri to find the Taurus amulet. Unknown to them, Darkiron is watching them from above the clouds. He chuckled as he talked to a small crab.

"They are on their way to the second amulet. They're just a group of ordinary kids who are zodiacs," He said as he saw Dewey, "Look at this boy, the leader of the Astro-Zodiacs with the ability to turn into Mars. And the others, the ability to turn into Ceres, Mercury, Sun, Moon, Chiron, Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune," Darkiron watched them as he talked to the crab, "So, my little friend, do you want to stop the Zodiacs from getting the amulets?" He asked as the crab nodded in agreement, "Good. You're a loyal creature." Darkiron smiled evilly.

A few kilometers later, the Zodiacs are still on their way to the ridge of Kappa Cancri. They saw every obstacle on their way and avoided many hazards. They saw a hybrid of snake with crab pincers and kicked it out of the way.

"You know, Dewey, when you learned to hike with your family?" said Becca.

"My family took me for a hike when I was a kid, Becca," said Dewey.

"Oh,I get it. My mom took me on a vacation trip to China."

"What if we encounter a formidable foe? A foe who is really dangerous than us," said Ashlyn.

"I look horrible when my dress was ripped," Meg pulled out a piece of her ripped dress. She tied it on her forehead, using it as a headband.

"Yeah, horrible. Our classmates will laugh at you when they'll see you as horrible," Shawn remarked.

"And fashionably tough," said Lauren.

"Hey! How long we're making it, Dewey?" Travis asked.

"Almost! We're almost close to the ridge!" Dewey replied before he and his friends has made their way to the ridge of Kappa Cancri, "Here we are. The ridge of Kappa."
