Chapter 17: The Last Amulet

               "This is what I wanted Lauren to remove it carefully from the pedestal," said Dewey as he has put his hands on his hips.

"She's so dumb and silly. But, I love my sister," said Travis as Lauren blushed.

"Aw, Shucks..." She said.

"Guys? What if we'll go to Lambda Librae? Where the last amulet was held?" Ashlyn asked.

"Ashlyn, Libra is represented by a object. We're going in there and we'll defeat Darkiron by using our spirits!" said Colby.

"The last amulet is Pisces!" said Lorraine.

"We'll look for the amulet, defeat Darkiron and the darkness is gone forever! And this will complete all the Zodiac signs together!" Dewey snapped his fingers, "Onward!"

Later, after finding the Aquarius amulet in the cave, the Zodiacs has left Alshat Capricorni in order to look for the last amulet. They flew in the constellation of Libra and saw many stars in the starry sky. They saw one of the stars, Lambda Librae and went inside the star before landing. The Zodiacs saw the place as amazing and saw it as Libra-related.

"Those things are related to Libra, you guys, " said Dewey.

"This is where the last amulet is there, right?" said Jody.

"Perhaps Themis always carrying the balance scales," said Austin.

"Who's Themis? The goddess of Texas?" Ashlyn asked.

"No, Ashlyn. The goddess of Justice," Becca corrected her.

"Look, you guys, we have the amulets," Dewey pulled out his Aries amulet, "It starts with Aries and ends with Pisces, you know."

"We hope that we can defeat Darkiron. That Darkiron guy is the original Chiron," Meg remarked, "Which building we'll find?"

"Let's see...one of them might be mystical."

"Mystical?" said Lorraine, "Which one?"

"A tower who resembles the statue of Themis carrying the balance scales. She is the goddess of Justice," Dewey has put his hands on his hips.

"What's the entrance? How we get in?" Lauren asked.

Later, the Zodiacs are standing next to a giant tower resembling the statue of Themis. They looked up with amazement and saw the scales carried by the statue, "A giant tower? Seriously?" said Ashlyn.

"Don't you 'Seriously', me, Ashlyn, This is a building, the tower of Lambda Librae. It resembles the statue of Themis," Dewey stated.

"How many floors we'll go?" said Travis.

"We gotta get inside. I wonder where the Pisces amulet might be," said Shawn, adjusting his glasses.

The group opened the door quietly and looked around, wondering there's someone here. They realized that the coast is clear as they all went inside. They walked in the halls, looking for the Pisces amulet. The Zodiacs opened every door only to see there's empty rooms, "No amulet," said Dewey as he closed the door.

"Nah. Nope," Becca closed the door as well.

"Boy, you know what they say: You know the part of that independent horror movie with that tagline of the movie "The Baby"? Oh, What Goes on in this nursery isn't for kids!" said Denver.

"It's ugly, I don't watch that movie. It gives me the creeps," said Travis.

"So, I like that movie!" Lauren exclaimed as her brother stared at her, skeptically, "I mean, It's ugly, It's painful and It's scary."

The group went up to the first floor and looked a drawing of the Libra symbol, "The Libra symbol," said Tiffany.

"Let's keep searching, guys."

They went from floor to floor until they found themselves in the top. The Zodiacs looked down from a moment and went to the balcony of the tower where they saw the view of Lambda Librae, to their amazement.

"Look at that!" said Lorraine.

"Pots and Pans!" exclaimed Travis and Lauren.

"Are we in heaven?" said Ashlyn.

"No, we're in the balcony of the tower and we're seeing everything!" said Meg.

"Mom and Dad were here to see this! Hey, Mom! Hey, Dad!" Tiffany shouted.

"The top of the statue. We went from many floors and we saw the entrance in Themis' dress," said Dewey.

"Dewey, you think that the Pisces amulet could be?" said Becca.

"Right there!" Dewey pointed to the scales being carried by Themis, where the Pisces amulet is there. Thinking in a moment, he gave himself a idea, "I think that I'm going to get the amulet myself and give to you, Lorraine."

"Are you sure that you can do this?" Lorraine asked.

"Trust me, Lor. I'm not gonna fall and break my bones."

"Be careful, Dewey!"

"I hope that you cannot fall!"

Dewey nodded in determination as he left the balcony and landed in the statue's shoulder. He looked down a bit as he gulped in fear before shaking his head and focusing on what he's been doing. He crawled, crawled, crawled until he reached in Themis' hand, "OK, You can do it, Dewey. Don't be a quitter," He said to himself. Dewey looked to the scales as he took a breath, he went down to the object and picked up the Pisces amulet, "Got it!"

"He made it!" Jody shouted, "He got the last amulet!"

"YAAYYYYY!!!!" The Zodiacs cheered.
