LEXIE THOUGHT ABOUT THE WORDS TIMOTHEE SAID, that they didn't do it, that they were being framed... and she found it entirely hard to believe.

miles... miles admitted it like no other.

they thought they killed her.

how the hell do you think you killed someone? that didn't even make any sense inside of lexie's mind... it sounded like the dumbest thing she had ever heard.

"so this violetta girl... isnt even dead?" noah said as him, amelia, and lexie sat on the couch, trying to figure out what the hell timothee was trying to say.

"according to timothee she isnt" lexie shook her head, not sure of who to believe,

"i just don't see the connection between them, why would miles and timothee go after her?! she was a senior in high school, it makes no sense..." amelia spoke up,

nothing anyone was saying was making sense.

suddenly, the three heard a few knocks on the door, they all whipped their heads towards it.

"fuck where is my gun" noah said as he looked around, being fully serious, ever since they miles and timothee got sent to prison, the three of them had been on edge like no other.

"uh two people here can move stuff with their mind" lexie said as she gestured between her and amelia while walking to the door, she opened it.

two men dressed in suits shined their badges at her.

"nicholas benson and joseph linden, private investigators... we were sent here to investigate the home for any evidence for the upcoming trial" one of the men said,

"uh..." lexie turned around to amelia and noah, they furrowed their brows while looking at her, she turned back to the two men quickly before speaking,

"...sure, uh just come in" she awkwardly said as she opened the door wider, inviting them to come inside, they stepped inside before one of the men gestured to the stairs and they walked up.

lexie shut the door before sitting down on the couch, continuing her conversation with noah and amelia,

"the trial is in two days and i feel like i am going to lose my mind..." she said as she rested her hands on her head in distress, she wasn't looking forward to it at all.

"...i'm testifying" she said, amelia and noah both coughed loudly as they stared at her with wide eyes, not believing the words that just came out of her mouth,

"what?!" they both shouted at the same time,

"im kind of still legally married to one of the people on trial! so yeah, i have to... you guys should too..." she said to the two of them.

noah and amelia looked at each other with looks of concern as they both shrugged, knowing that the whole thing would be anxiety ridden.

"wait— legally married? you didnt give him the divorce papers?" noah asked as he realized what lexie just said, she let out a sigh as she thought about the memory at the prison...
