Liam:
After what felt to Liam like an hour he managed to get Lucas ready for preschool. But of course getting him out of the car was another struggle "I could go stay with Granny or Nanna" Lucas asks with a pout & Liam sighs "Bud why don't you want to go to preschool? You used to love it" "Nobody friend" he says

Liam finally understands what was going on in his sons head at the end of last year Lucas's best friend Jamie moved away to America & now he thinks that he won't have any friends it was true that Lucas was quite & liked to keep to himself especially after losing his mother but his also really outgoing once he gets to know you. He'll have no problem making new friends "Lucas, I know how your feeling, I've felt like that when I was in school. But your amazing you'll make new friends it's the start of a new year you'll met a whole bunch of new people as well as seeing your other friends" "not friends" Lucas huffs but gets out of the car & puts his back pack on anyway "thank you" Liam says as he grabs his hand to start walking into school

Liam checks his watch their very late, but that doesn't matter his just happy that Lucas is walking into school peacefully even after the terrible morning after finally dropping him into school. He walks back out to the car.

But he sees a man in the lobby sitting in the corner with his head in his hands Liam can't see his face but he has jet black hair styled upward & is wearing black skinny jeans

Liam decides to take his own advice & talk to him he thinks about sitting next to him but doesn't want to freak the guy out his obviously having a hard time so he just stood in front of him & said "first time?" Liam curses himself what a stupid way to start a conversation

But as the man looks up Liam forgets everything the man is perfection he gives Liam a small smile & he has tears threading to spill out of his eyelids but Liam still thinks that his perfect he has to get to know him Liam thinks. Maybe he's the one. So Liam sits next to him & tries to continue into a normal conversation

Zayn:
Today was Elodies first day at preschool today well half a day most of the other children would've been there since god knows when in the morning but as Zayn hasn't started working again after quitting his last job a few months ago, she's only going for half a day just to test the waters.

She has already been for some type of orientation day where she met the teacher & some of the other girls & boys her age some that were just starting like her & others that had been there a while already

After getting dressed, Packing Elodie's bag they finally leave for preschool as Zayn pulls up outside the building he sighs he wishes he didn't have to take his daughter to preschool and that they could continue to spend all day every day together. his so nervous for her Louis always tells him he worries too much but Zayn just says it's because he had to worry for 2 parents to which Louis just laughs after getting Elodie out her car seat they walk into the center

Élodie is fascinated by all the toys but doesn't let go of her dads hand yet as if she's still not sure. Zayn sees the teacher Ms Smith coming towards them "Hey miss Elodie, are you excited?" She askes Elodie nods but still holds Zayn's hand tightly & hides behind his leg slightly as he bends down to her eye level. "C'mon you'll have so much fun today & Baba will be here to pick you up in no time" Elodie still looks a little unsure but let's go of Zayn leaning forward & giving him a big hug & saying "you better come back soon" Zayn just nods not trusting his voice of course he'll be back as soon as possible to get his baby girl he holds her tight before she's wriggling out of his hold to go play the dolls. Zayn leans forward & kisses her forehead "Love you El" "Love Baba too" she says before running off Ms smith smiles softly at Zayn "it's always hard the first time" "Yeah it's fine it's whatever, thanks for having her" he says trying to hold it together "of course good bye Mr Malik" & Zayn just smiles catching a glimpse of Elodie playing dolls with some other girls & his glad she has found friends before leaving the room.
