Part 6

Liam:
Liam gets Lucas to calm down and eventually gets him to go to school and now his storming into the head teachers office when Zayn catches up to him

"Woah, relax macho man" He says grabbing his hands and intertwining their hands and it's the first time Liam realises that his there "Hi"Is all he says "Hi isn't enough mister what's wrong?" Zayn says and Liam can't help but smile a little "Nothing, it's just this kid told Lucas that nobody loved him or wanted him around" "that's horrible" Zayn gasps "Yep" Is all Liam says and Zayn just pulls him into his chest and hugs him tight

"Let's just sit for a bit. If you go in there you'll rip the poor ladies head off" Zayn says with a smile that you can hear in his voice "Yeah probably" he chucked "Thank you" Liam says gratefully giving Zayn a peck on the lips "of course what are friends for" and Liam looked up at him and raised an eyebrow "Friends" "well we're not boyfriends yet you haven't asked" "true, but we are still more then friends" and Zayn just nods but shrugs resting his head on Liam's shoulder and slowly closing his eyes just breathing in Liam he doesn't realise it but he falls asleep and is awoke about an hour later by Lim shaking him gently

"Baby, wake up. I'm going to go and talk to the head teacher now" Liam said quietly and Zayn groaned but woke up and turned up to look at Liam in his eyes "do you want me to come with you?" He asks as he rubs his eyes "No it's alright I can do it by myself" he says rubbing Zayn's thighs "Ok, well I'll see you on Tuesday for our date" he says standing up and opening his arms for a hug from Liam, he tries to kiss him goodbye but Zayn turns his head making Liam pout "Don't look at me like that. No more kisses until our date" he says boping Liam's nose and then turning around and walking off back to his car with a massive smile on his face

Liam's smiles happily and stays still for a moment before rembebering why he was there and found a frown return to his face. Nobody is mean to his son and gets away with it. Usually in situations like this he thinks about Marci and what she would do if she was still here. But today he didn't have that thought maybe it was a sign or maybe he was just to focused on his future or on his son as he walks into the head teachers office knocking on the door.

"Hello mr...." She says "Payne, Lucas's dad" he says as he awkwardly stands around "Of course Mr Payne take a seat" and Liam did as he was told and sat down in the seat in front of the teachers desk suddenly feeling very small as if he was back at school and about to be to told off. But he regained composure and remembered why he was there.

"So what brings you in to my office?" She asks "Uh, my son Lucas is in prep (A/N I don't understand the English school system so we are just going with Australian) and yesterday or the day before some kid named Henry told him that nobody loved: or wanted him" he said suddenly getting angry again

"Well that is definitely unacceptable" she says shaking her head and Liam just nods not sure what to say

"I'll make sure to have a talk to his parents and we'll discuss punishments then. Would you and Lucas like to join in on that conversation?" She asks
"No, it's fine" Liam says "Well is there anything else I can do for you?" She asks and Liam just shakes his head not sure how he feels about how the conversation went "Ok, I'll see you soon then." She says standing up and shaking offering her hand for Liam to shake which he takes as he also stands up "Thank you, have a good day" he says "you too" she says and he leaves still just as angry as when he went in but decided it was fine

When Liam gets home he decides to put his attention on planning his and Zayn's second date he wants to ask him to be his boyfriend he knows it's early but things are super easy and he feels like they really connected and his excited to see where things are going to go and his also pretty sure that Zayn is also ready or maybe his just really hoping so

After getting home from dropping Elodie off at school he decides to get some things organised for his new job as a causal relief teacher at a primary school it's not much but It pays well enough to keep him and Elodie a float and allows him to have heaps of spare time to  spend with her and now Liam
