Chapter 8 : I Love You but Please Think First

"So are we going to stand here all day or are we going to-" Harry was interrupted with a punch and was on the ground immediately, Elena was the first to help him

"Gods, darling, I love you but you do some pretty stupid things"

She hands him over to Eggsy who sits him down in a different booth with Merlin "Now that not what I call a Kentucky Welcome" Whiskey stands tall beside Elena

"Manner Maketh Man, let us translate for you"

Elena lunges at one guy and she uses her legs to strangle him and putting him on the ground, suddenly two men go to her and she uses her cufflinks to send out a bolt of electricity and tazing them, she sees that whiskey has stunned the man that insulted Harry earlier and the man moves closer to a window and she takes the opportunity to kick him out the window and he crashes straight through "That's what you get you piece of shit" A man goes in for a punch but she catches it and she twist his arm and knees him in the groin, she uses her other hand to get her pepper spray and sprays another guy who screams in pain, someone goes behind her and tries to restrain her but she flips her hair and she kicks him out the same window the first guy came through "Whoo, I feel like a tornado in a trailer park" Whiskey sighs out but Elena scoffs and catches Harry's eye

"Sorry about that, I needed to let off some steam" She says walking towards him and Eggsy chuckles and she stares at him confused "That exactly what he said last time"

The moment was interrupted by an announcement. A woman named Poppy Adams was behind the blue rash and showed the next few stages of the blue rash, all of them were not very pretty. The four immediately head back to Statesman for a meeting with Champagne

"Hello Agent Odette, I believe we haven't met yet" Champagne offers his hand to shake and Elena accepts "Yes we haven't since I've been busy, lovely to meet you Champagne" She smiles kindly "Call me Champ" He smiles back. Eggsy, Harry and Elena sit next to each other while Whiskey sits alone on the other side of the table "So how are we gonna take down Poppy?" Elena starts "We need the antidote" Whiskey says and Champagne chimes in "She must have some on hand. Locate Poppy and obtain a sample for analysis. Maybe it can be replicated" Elena sighs in relief Thank the Gods, someone has a plan "Sorry to cut in. But Charlie is on the phone with his Girlfriend. Looping you in now" Two voices were suddenly heard one was Charlie's and the other was Clara His Girlfriend "Don't worry, I'm on a payphone. Covered in fucking blue rash. Why didn't you tell me? All you said was 'Don't take any drugs' it was a music festival for fucks sake"

"She has a valid point" Elena whispers and Harry nudges her "What?"

"Focus"

"Oh shut up you're the one whose uncoordinated"

"Fuck. Shit. Shit! Okay, listen. You need to get to the lab in Italy, do you remember when we went skiing?"

"Yes. Yes, I remember yeah"

"Meet me there and I'll give you the antidote"

Elena sighs in relief "Okay, alright. Jet's ready, Whiskey, Galahad and Odette, get to Italy" As Elena stands up, both Harry and Eggsy stands up "We really need to figure out whose who" Elena sits back down "Yeah, you two need to fix this code name thing and with all due respect sir I don't think Galahad senior is ready to return to field work, I did actually mean…" Whiskey starts to whisper to Champagne and Elena looks at Harry with worry "Are you sure you're ready?" She asks Harry and he nods "I'm fine don't worry"

"You know I'll worry anyway" She puts her hand on his "Of course, but with all disrespect I'm not going anywhere without them both. Brains, skills, humor… Skipping rope?" Elena laughs a little and smiles at Eggsy "See? The boy has jokes" She notices Harry's sad eye "I promise to stick with you ok? You won't leave my sight" She reassures him and he nods "It's a lasso"

"Which is a less kinky version of-"

Harry stops Elena from going further "Go on. Vamoose"

"Antidote confirmed at the target's location. Good luck" They all head to a cable car but Whiskey stops Harry from entering "Hold up, we need you down here, to secure the control room" Elena contemplates and goes to Harry's side "If so I'll stay here as back up" She looks at Whiskey, there's still that gut feeling that something bad is gonna happen "Probably a good idea. Call you guys from the top yeah?" Eggsy says and Elena nods.

Harry and Elena head to the control room where a man was sat in front of a control panel and Harry tries to shoot the man with an amnesia dart but he misses, Elena goes ahead and hands him a fire extinguisher and knocks him out with one blow "Why did you stick with me when you can have more fun with them?" Harry asks as he sits down at the control panel "I made a promise and you bet your sexy ass I'm keeping it" Harry stops typing being flustered "Here let me help" She moves Harry aside and starts typing away "In position, keep this cable car here till we get back okay?"

"Roger that Jr."

"I never asked, how were you when I was gone?" Harry asks after recovering "I moved to Kentucky for a while and had my break… Nothing interesting happened really, Merlin was there to keep me company" She moves away from the panel and lets Harry do his thing "Galahad? Come in!" Elena hears from the comms but Harry doesn't react "Shit" She moves him away from the panel "He's out of focus, don't worry I'm here" She opens the door on the cable car to let Eggsy and Whiskey in, she averts her gaze from the panel to Harry who was swatting something away "Go away butterflies…"

"Darling, there aren't any butterflies. Focus on me, Harry. I'm right here" Elena tries, cupping Harry's face and he looks at her finally regaining his senses "Oh…"

"How's everything down there?" Whiskey asks "All clear" Elena answers walking towards the panel. The system was overridden by none other than Charlie himself "Fuck!" Elena starts typing away trying to take control of the cable car "Crap, I tried everything, the buttons are dead and I have no control, you're on your own Agents" Elena says in a panic "Hey! What are you doing here??" A guard says coming in with two more guards

"Goddammit"
