Alex POV
We finally reach Le Grande Paris hotel, which was surrounded by convicts. Leading the charge were two familiar faces.
"Well well. Look who came out of hibernation." Black Death scoffed.
"And you even got your little love doll too." Silver Blade added.
Tina trembled with rage.
"You better watch what you say to my girlfriend." I replied with a threatening tone.
"Oh, I am soo scared! For you!" Black Death said with a mocking tone. Their army laughed.
"I've had enough of this." Alya said and pulled out her staff and got into her stance. Nino pulled out his shield and baton. Tina pulled out her bow. I unsheathed my escrimas.
"Get the fox and the turtle. The wolf and the archer are ours." Silver Blade said to the convicts as they rushed towards us.
As Black Death engaged with Tina, Silver Blade and I exchanged blows.
"So, I figured you would cut and run after your coma." He said as he swiped his sword at me. I dodged and kicked him in the jaw. He recovered and wiped the blood from his jaw.
"I don't run, I chase.." I replied as I jabbed my escrima at his torso, stunning him. I ran forward and dropkicked him in the chest. He fell on his back and rolled back to his feet.
Tina POV
Black Death deflected another arrow fired at her and swiped her scythe at my feet. I backflipped out of the way and fired another arrow at her. She knocked it aside.
"Is that all you can do? Throw your pathetic toys at me?" Black Death taunted.
"Alright then. DODGE THIS!" I shouted as I fired another arrow at her She caught it with an arrogant smile. Then, the arrow sprayed blinding powder in her face.
"What the-!?" Black Death shouted out as she tried to swat the powder away from her face. I darted towards her, turned my bow into a sword and struck her abdomen, wounding her stomach. She stepped back and clutched her wounded stomach.
"Damn you." She muttered as she threw her scythe at me. I slide under it and fired a putty arrow at her, immobilising her.
"You're done." I panted. Black Death smiled. I looked back and saw the scythe returning towards her. I dodged the scythe, though it slashed through the putty.
Alex POV
Our weapons clashed as our duel continued. I snapped a roundhouse kick at Silver Blade. He caught me foot and threw me into the hotel. I crashed through the entrance and slip across the floor.
"Had enough, Wolf?" Silver Blade taunted. I got up and fused my escrima sticks into a staff.
"Not yet, Metal Head." I replied. Silver Blade darted towards me with his sword out. I blocked his attacks, whilst launching my own. He slashed his sword at my lower body but I quickly jumped over and flip kicked him in the face, knocking him backwards. He roared in rage and swiped his sword at me, forcing me to block and step backwards until I was pinned to a wall.
"Now die!" Silver Blade shouted as he swung his sword. I quickly dodge the blade and fire an arrow from my wrist mounted crossbow at his right eye. He cried out in pain and clutched his eye. I wacked my staff at his ribs, breaking them and forcing him to kneel and jabbed my electrified staff in his chest, shocking him.
"THE BROTHERHOOD SHOULD STAY BURIED!" I roared as I struck my staff on the side of his head, knocking him out. I sat on the ground to catch my breath.
Tina POV
I dodged Black Death's attacks until I wacked my bow into her abdomen. She dropped her scythe and clutched her ribs. I fired an electric arrow at her shoulder, stunning her until she fell to the ground unconscious.
"Phew. Glad that's over." I panted as I entered the hotel to find Silver Blade unconscious and Alex sitting on the ground, exhausted from the fight.
"Are you alright?" I asked as I helped him up. Alex nodded. Alya and Nino entered the hotel.
"You guys ok?" Alex asked.
"We're ok. You two did a good job taken them down." Nino said as he gestured at the unconscious duo.
"We managed to call Sabrina's father to come and pick them up." Alya added.
"Alright. Now we gotta help Mari and the others." Alex said. He pulled out a black leather whip with a fox insignia on the hilt from his backpack and gave it to Alya and a pair of gauntlets to Nino.
"These should help." Alex said.
"Thanks." Said the duo.
"Your parents must've had a lot of gear on them." I said. Alex nodded.
