Zoe POV
I dodged another stick of dynamite thrown at me as Dynamite Man cackled sadistically.
"Dance, little bee! DANCE!" He shouted as threw another volley of dynamite at me. I dived out of the way.
Not too long ago, Luka and I decided to take different routes to find more survivors. He said he hoped he would find his mother.
And now, I find myself fighting an arsonist and explosive expert calling himself Dynamite Man and I have 4 minutes to beat him and save the survivors from his bomb.
"Why involve civilians into this? Why not fight me one on one?" I called out as I hid behind a crate.
"You heroes are so predictable. I set a trap, you fell for it." He said as he tossed another stick of dynamite at the crate I was hiding behind. The explosion knocked me off my feet.
I lay on the ground dazed from the explosion. I got up and checked my watch. The bomb would go off at 4pm. The time is 3:57. 3 minutes left. I raced towards Dynamite Man.
"Are you suicidal, Vesperia!? Or are just stupid!?" Dynamite Man laughed as he tossed more dynamite at me.
"Not really." I replied with a smirk and caught the dynamite and threw it at the celling. "Just cunning."
The explosion caused the celling to fall on top of Dynamite Man, trapping him. I quickly raced to the hostages and freed them.
"Thank you, Vesperia!" A man said.
"Your welcome. Get everyone out of the building." I said. The man nodded and lead the other hostages out of the building. I glanced at the bomb. No time to diffuse it. I removed the rubble on top of Dynamite Man and carried him out of the building.
The bomb went off. Thankfully, we left the building before the explosion. The police took Dynamite Man to the underground prison that they will be placed until Paris is no longer under Hell Wolf's control.
After my fight with Dynamite Man, I called Luka to tell him that the survivors are safe. I asked if his mother is safe.
"She's safe. I've escorted her to The Bunker." He replied.
"Let's meet up with Tina and Rodrigo and find the others." I said. He agreed and hung up.
