(Jordan's Point of View)
As Miep, Matt, and Mr. DeSal traveled to who knows when, Batman, Betty, and I got in our own Beige Beetle.
Betty got in the driver's seat, Batman got the passenger side, and I took the few, pitiful inches known as the back seat. I'm really tall, so I had to lay sideways and across the entirety of the rear sitting area.
"So, where should we go?" I asked.
"Well," Betty began, "let's use deductive reasoning. Hitler was an important figure in World War II, but he wouldn't make it that easy to find him. I say we try Ancient Japan."
"Why?"
"Japan was an important country during the War. Plus, he can time travel like us. So I figured, 'Why not?'"
"Okay, then."
And we were off. The Beetle began to float and, BANG!!! 250 A.D.
But this time, Betty didn't land the machine, but instead hit the gas while we were still in the air and the Bug shot forward at a few thousand miles per hour. I looked out the window to see the scenery flashing by.

About an hour later, we were hovering over the island of Japan. Betty pressed a button on the dashboard and the Beetle began to drift downwards.
When we landed, get got out of the car and looked around. We were in a pretty garden. There were pink dogwood trees lining a path up to one of those Japanese temple things. The place was so serene that all three of us were afraid to speak. We just walked slowly toward the building, our steps perfectly synchronized. It was like we all shared one mind.
When we reached the door, I reached my hand up and opened the door. Inside, we were greeted by banzai trees lining the walls and a beautiful zen garden in the middle. A path led to the middle of the zen, and a stairway began at the end of it. So we climbed.
There were about 40 floors, each exactly the same. When we reached the roof, there was the most wonderful zen garden of them all. At a small piece of cement in the middle, there sat a man. His back was to us, and on the other side of him (the way he was facing) was a bush.
We began to approach him.
"Who are you? And why are you here?" he said in a cool, monotonous voice.
Betty opened her mouth to answer, but her voice failed her. I knew Batman was too incompetent to speak, so I had to state our business here.
"I... uhhh... we... ummm... are... h-here to... uhhh... l-look for... for ummm... H-hitler," I stammered.
"Who? Oh... it doesn't matter. I can tell you three are worthy of my presence. Or else you'd be dead by now. Please, have a seat," he replied.
I walked over and sat down next to his bush. Betty sat next to me, and Batman next to her. The zen guy sat there for a second, then he closed his eyes. Then, for some reason, my eyelids felt like iron. I struggled to keep them open. Then Batman closed his eyes. Then Betty. Then... me.
Then I opened my eyes. In front of me was a beautiful display of exotic fruits, nuts, and berries.
I tried to speak, but my mouth wouldn't work. Then the others opened their eyes and the zen guy spoke.
"Please, eat. I insist," said he.
I tried to protest but I couldn't speak. So I just decided to try a berry.
I picked up a small one that looked appetizing, and popped it in my mouth. I bit down and the juicy flavor flooded through my mouth. I tried to lift my hand for another, but it wouldn't budge. My arms felt like lead. Come to think of it, my everything felt like lead. And then, everything went black.

I had no idea how long it had been, but when I woke up, everyone was leaning over me. Concerned. Except Mr. Zen. Then I noticed that I was laying in his bush, and he looked mad. Very mad. Then he spoke.
"You have killed my sacred bush. PREPARE TO DIE!!!" he screamed at me. He then lifted his finger and there was a crack of thunder. Then light flashed. Then everything was black. But I knew I wasn't dead.
What I remember is all a blur, but I do remember waking up in this place with multicolored lights.
