I'm not sure how I got out of the mirror, but I'm out. I told the others about the guru's strange rhyme and we decided to return to Japan as soon as possible. So we left immediately. We were in Maine, so it was going to take awhile to get to Japan.

It was a few hours later. We decided to stop in Vegas and split up because one of the Beetles were running low on fuel. So here is what happened: Miep, Mr. DeSal, Jordan, Ellen, and I left for Japan while the others stayed in Vegas. Then we left.
Time skip brought to you by Maine because it is the best state ever. (Yay! Maine!)
Once we were in Japan, we landed the beetle in the middle of a city.
"What do we do now?" Jordan asked.
"First of all," Miep replied, "I don't know. Second of all, why does somebody ask that question every 10 minutes?"
"Because we don't know."
"Did you ever stop to think that nobody else does, either?"
"Ummm... no. Not really."
"Okay. Then think about it now."
"K... alright. I'm good."
"And?"
"Maybe you don't know what to do."
"There ya go."
"Alright... so what do we do?"
"Jordan... really?"
"What?"
"Never mind. Let's just go see if anyone here speaks English."
"See? That's what we do! Doesn't it feel nice? Answering your own question?"
"Wow, Jordan, you actually did something that wasn't awkward this time."
"Why, thank you! Now, let us find English speaking Japanese people!"
She then turned around and BAM!!! right into the building behind her.
"AHHHHH! WHO PUT THAT BUILDING THERE?!?!?!"
"Way to ruin it, Jordan."
And we were off.

Once we got further into the heart of the city, we began finding Japanese people in the streets. We walked up to one guy and began speaking English:
"Hello there, sir! Might you speak English?" Mr. DeSal said.
The man looked back at him and said, "私は私がロシアの話すことはありません申し訳ありませんが先生です。"
"Do any of you know Japanese?" Mr. DeSal asked us.
"Nope," Jordan replied.
"What do we look like? Polyglots?" Ellen said.
"Maybe he speaks German?" I asked.
"Meip, why don't you try?" Mr. DeSal suggested.
Then Miep looked at the guy and said, "Deutsch? Sprechen Sie Deutsch?"
"Ahhh! Deutsch! Ich weiß sprechen Deutsch! Was kann ich helfen?" he said, and we all cheered.
Miep then turned to us and said, "His name is Yoshiru. He is going to take us to the Jewel of Sight. It may help us."
So we left on a hike through the city.
Time skip brought to you by Japan, イェーイ、日本語の単語!
After about hiking through the city, we ended up at this strange building just outside the city's heart.
Yoshiru turned to us and said, in ENGLISH, "Enjoy your stay..." then snapped his fingers and exploded into flames. Then he was gone.
"Okay..." Jordan said, "I am officially creeped out now."
"Perhaps this was a trick?" Ellen said.
"Perhaps so," said Miep.
"But what might the trick be?" Mr. DeSal inquired.
"Okay. Let's think," I said, "what happened in Japan in 1945?"
"Wait... it's 1945?" Miep freaked out.
"Yep."
"Oh dear... The U.S. dropped 2 atomic bombs on Japan. And if I'm not mistaken, we are directly in the middle of the blast zone."
