When I came back up with two waters in hand, I found Louis humming Hey There Delilah. I quickly set the waters down and pointed to him.
"Sing." I ordered, and he looked up at me like a deer in headlights.
"What?"
"Don't hum, sing!" I reiterated, and jumped onto the bed next to him. He still seemed confused, but took heed.
"Oh, it's what you do to me. Oh, it's what you do to me. A thousand miles seems pretty far, but they've got planes and trains and cars. I'd walk to you if I had no other way." He stared at me the whole time, still confused.
"That's it. That's the one." I told him, grinning madly, and he paused the music.
"Really? You think?" He asked, offering a small smile, and I nodded fervently.
"Definitely. It suits your voice perfectly." I assured him, and he jumped up.
"Yeah! Success! Thanks so much, Kare-bear!"He shouted, and hugged me tightly. I yelped, and once he let go, I gave him a playful glare.
"I thought that nickname was dead and gone, Boobear." I taunted, and he laughed.
"Not anymore. I officially reinstate it. Karebear." He added with a mischievous grin, and it was my turn to laugh.
"You are such an idiot." I snorted, and ruffled his shaggy brown hair. He slapped me hand away, and turned away to fix it.
"Why do you insist on touching my hair?! How does THIS feel?" he asked, doing the same to me. My curly black hair stuck out in all directions by the time he'd had his revenge, and I just shrugged.
"Today's my bum day. I don't care what my hair looks like." I quickly pulled it back into a ponytail while he harrumphed.
"Fine then. I'm gonna go home and practice. See ya later, KARLI!" he shouted my name, as was his typical goodbye, and I laughed.
"Bye, LOUIS!" I did the same, and heard him chuckling as he went downstairs. I faintly heard him thank my mum before walking out, and grinned.
He was an odd boy. But that was why we were friends. There was never a dull moment around Louis Tomlinson.
