I've always hated the dark, it reminded me of times like this, where I was too weak to stay awake. So you can imagine how glad I was when I awoke again.

I awoke in what seemed to be a giant sewer.

"How in the fuck did I get here?" I wondered aloud.

I continued to walk down the long hallway for a while. Eventually I came upon a giant type of cage.

"What the.." I mumbled under my breath, however, even though I practically whispered it, it seemed to catch the attention of whatever was in the cage.

"Well, it looks like my host finally decided to pay me a visit." It said, I was slightly startled by the deep voice that came out. Though I wasn't all that surprised that it was there, as I could practically feel the power radiating off of it.

I looked closer at the cage, only to realize that there was a pair of blood red eyes watching my every move.

"U-uh h-hello" I said quite pathetically in my opinion.

"Hello little human," The creature greeted back.

"Um, I don't mean to be rude, but, what are you, and why are you here, and where is here?" I asked, gesturing around with my hands.

The creature looked at me for a minute, as if contemplating whether or not to tell me the truth.

"Well, I'm the Nine Tails, in other words, The Kyuubi." I merely blinked at this information, "As for why I'm here, well I was sealed inside of you by your father before he died," He continued.

"Oh"

"That's all you're going to say??" He asked, clearly confused.

"Well, it's kind of obvious with what the villagers say all the time." I replied.

The Nine-Tails grunted in response, "I'm sorry, it's my fault they treat you like this." He said while looking down at his paws.

"Why did you attack the village in the first place?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, I was controlled by an Uchiha, I never actually wanted to hurt anyone." He answered.

"Well then, I forgive you, seeing as it wasn't actually you. And about the villagers, don't worry about them, it's not like you're telling them to do these things." I stated.

I smiled at him, he looked at me for a minute, like he was deciding whether or not I was telling the truth. After searching my eyes for a while, he must have determined that I was not lying, as he visibly relaxed, going from sitting up and looking down at me, to curling up in a ball, like he was going to go to sleep anytime.

"What's your name?" I asked, finally breaking the silence that seemed to stretch on forever, in my opinion.

The Nine-Tails looked at me flabbergasted, "What do you mean?" He replied with a question instead of the answer.

"Well, your name can't just be 'The Kyuubi', there has to be something your family or friends call you, right?" I continued to question him, determined to get his name before I left.

He looked at me for a little bit more before sighing, "My name is Kurama, if you must know." He finally answered.

I smiled once more at him before I started to fade, meaning I was regaining consciousness in reality.

I opened my eyes to Jiji-san sitting next to me in what I assumed to be the hospital.

~Naruto; Age 7~

I have been training from the age of 3 , so about 4 years. I was incredibly strong. My trainers told me that I was a really quick learner.

Jiji had assigned 3 people to teach me, but besides that I was also getting taught things from Kurarma, or as I had dubbed him not long after meeting him, Kura-nii.
