I sat and watched the others panic for a second before I got up myself.

Sasuke walked up to me and waited with me, sitting there until the others were out of the room. As I looked around, I noticed that Sakura wasn't here either, she must have ran out with the others.

Sighing, I made my way over to the window, Sasuke following me, and jumped out, landing on the ground in one piece. I watched as Sasuke did the same thing and landed it pretty well, only stumbling a little bit. We started walking again soon after, heading for the forest of death.

We ended up waiting for about 5 minutes before anyone else got here, apparently people were pretty slow. You would think that they would be faster, seeing as they are ninjas after all.

After everyone had gathered around the new exam instructor as she started explaining what we are going to do.

"Alright, here's what's going to happen, you are going to get a scroll, there are 2 different types of scrolls. Heaven and Earth, you need both at the end of the exam to pass. You are going to go into the forest and fight for the opposite scrolls. You have 5 days to complete the exam," She started.

"WHAT ABOUT FOOD?!?!" Choji interrupted.

"There are plenty of things to eat in the forest, like foxes," she explained, I winced slightly at the fox part, "Continuing on, You are not to open the scroll until you get to the tower, is that understood?" She asked.

"Yes" Most people called out.

"Good, that's really all, you aren't allowed to leave the forest until time is up." She added on at the last second.

"RIght, everyone grab a scroll and line up at one of the gates please." She instructed.

Sasuke went and got the scroll for us, "What scroll did we get?" I asked once he had returned.

"We got an Earth one. Here, why don't you hold it?" Sakura went to protest as he suggested this, but decided to keep her mouth shut.

I nodded as I took the scroll and put it in one of the seals that are on my wrist. We headed in as the whistle blew, and headed straight for the tower, we figured we would find a scroll on the way there.

We traveled for about 3 hours before it started to get dark, and we decided, Read; me and Sasuke decided, to set camp. It only took us about 30 minutes to do so, after finding a suitable place of course.

Sakura refused to help when I had asked her, probably because she's "too pretty" and that it wasn't Sasuke who had asked her. Maybe I should've just had him ask.

We started a small fire to cook some of the small animals that we had managed to trap and kill for food. We didn't want to make the fire too big, in fear of the smoke attracting more people.

We quickly cooked the food and ate, then debated on who was to stay up first for the first watch, us not trusting other people not to kill us in our sleep.

I volunteered to watch first, then Sasuke, and finally Sakura. I knew that the only way Sakura was going to go was if Sasuke was the one to ask or make her.

I stayed up as they got to get ready and sleep in the makeshift campsite we had made.

I ended up guarding for about 3 hours before I woke Sasuke up for his turn. He grunted and took a moment to get up, but eventually I got to go to sleep.

Although I said I was going to be going to sleep, I didn't really sleep. I wanted to be safe, so I ended up meditating all night long.
