The Test

I woke up to the sound of the birds chirping outside of my window. I reluctantly opened my eyes, only to snap them shut again because the sun was blaring right into my face.

I rolled over onto my other side and tried to go back to sleep. Then I remembered that today was the written test for being an ANBU.

I jumped out of my bed faster than the naked eye could see. I went and got some clothes to change into after my shower.

I chose some black ANBU style pants with a black sleeveless shirt. I went into my restroom and turned the water on.

I decided to take a cold shower today, like every other day, as I don't actually have heated water in my apartment, (I can thank the landlord for that)

I quickly went through my shower routine. After I finished showering, I got out and dried off, as well as putting on the clothes I chose to wear.

After I finished getting dressed, I went into the kitchen and got something to eat. I did end up going shopping after I suggested it to myself.

I finished eating rather quickly, although I was careful not to choke on my food.

I left my apartment, not even bothering to lock it, the people would just break down the door anyways.

I started on my way to the Hokage's tower, ignoring all the glares and rocks thrown at me. I made it to the tower in a little over 5 minutes.

As I walked into the building, the receptionist glared at me, "What do you want?" She snarkily asked.

"I'm here to see the Hokage" I replied, completely ignoring the tone in her voice.

"Well, you can't, he's busy at the moment." She spat.

I just rolled my eyes and walked past her, into Jiji's office.

"I'M HERE OLD MAN" I yelled as soon as I opened the door.

Jiji jumped at the volume of my voice, I don't really blame him though, I can be quite loud when I want to be, though I'm not loud often. I was just in a loud mood today.

"Oh, it's just you, so are you ready to take the test?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm ready."

"Okay, I will hand you the test, you have 2 hours to complete it. If you do not finish in time, you will automatically fail, understood?" He informed me.

I nodded my head to show my understanding.

"Okay then you may start, you have 3 hours starting, ....now" He said as he handed me my test.

I immediately went to work.

The test wasn't too hard, but it still took like an hour for me to finish. Jiji said that I finished it quicker than he thought that I would.

"Alright, a promise is a promise. You are now an ANBU Naruto." He sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time this week.

I smiled, "Thank you!" I said. I was really happy, I have wanted to be an ANBU member for quite some time.

"You are going to have the codename Kitsune, and I will get you your mask next time I see you" He stated.

We continued to talk for about half an hour until I decided to leave.

From here on out, I am now an ANBU member, and I can't wait.
