y/n POV
Tony left to go work in his lab, while I got up, showered and change so I can talk to Bruce, Fitz, Simmons and Dad about doing something to stop the acid. I am hopeful but I don't want to get my hopes up.
"Morning y/n" my twin says as I walk into the lab
"Morning Sammy what are you doing here?" I ask
"Turns out your brother could be useful" Fury says making me nod
"That is great, so you want to take a sample of the acid out, so you can run tests on it?" I ask the group in front of me
"y/n if we could get a sample of the acid, we could break down the microbiology formulas that makeup the acids and see if we can reverse engineer the chemical" Simmons says excitedly I just raise my eyebrows
"right, then why don't you just extract all of the acid instead?" I ask Bruce looks at me sadly
"y/n that much acid in your brain would be take too long to extract, it is a miracle you are still functioning" Bruce says, Fury and Sam share a look
"right... Dad do you have any undercover agents in Hydra?" I ask Nick, he looks down.
"ok well lets give this a try shall we?" I ask moving over the bed and laying there moving my hair so they have access to my head
"ok I am just going to inject you with something, y/n that will make you sleep and then I will apply-" Bruce starts I cut him off
"Bruce waste time explaining just do it" I sigh taking the needle and jabbing myself again. Instantly feeling drowsy.
"Fury, Sam can you please leave the room we are going to need as much space as we can" Bruce says as Tony walks in
"have you guys started it she asleep?" he asks panicked I try to raise my hand but groan when it does not happen as I am too tired. He looks at me and relaxes coming to my side
"y/n, we will try our best to get you answers and a possible antidote ok, I will be right here the whole time" he says grabbing my hand I smile
"thank you tony.." and with that I am asleep.
Third person POV
as soon as y/n was asleep they got to work...
"ok preparing to extract sample in 3...2...1..." Jemma goes to touch the acid where it sends some sort of shock making Jemma retreat her hand.
"what the?" Tony asks
"Guys somethings happening" Fitz says as they all turn to look at the monitors with y/ns vitals. The monitor starts freaking out beeping like crazy. A second monitor with the image of her brain and her damaged area also starts flashing red. A soft cry could be heard from behind them.
"y/n! she's waking up" Bruce gasps running to her side with another needle.
"Bruce the acid is spreading much more quicker now.." Fitz says after Bruce injected her. However y/n still cries in pain. Making them all confused and concerned
"did you inject her with the right stuff?" Tony asks coming to y/n side
"yes Tony I did, now someone get Wanda maybe she can help?" Bruce says moving back to vitals to see the monitor still going crazy
"stop...i-it h-hurts... y/n murmurs making Tony look up at Bruce with concern to back at the pained girl in front of him.
"guys I am here what's wrong" Wanda says coming into the room and going to y/ns side pushing past Tony, who sighs getting up.
