As I walked home with a chill hanging in the air, my brows remained furrowed. My eyes were trained on the path ahead of me as Levi's words repeated in my head.

Meet me in the fields. Tonight.

What for? What could he want?

Whatever it was, I figured it couldn't be that bad. I hugged the hoodie around me tighter, as I made my way to the home that I shared with Eren. I almost forgot about that. Again.

Once I entered the house, Eren rose from the seat he was occupying.

"Oh! There you are, where were you?" He greets.

I shrug, "just needing another breath of fresh air." I reason.

Eren lets his eyes wander around their sockets, "you always seem to need a breath of fresh air." He notes, earning another attempted shrug from me.

"But like almost every time I'm out, I ran into Levi. Again." I state.

Eren plasters a smirk on his lips, "ooh, I'm starting to see why the bracelet led you to him. You guys really are meant to be." He sneers.

I let my own eyes wander around in an annoyed manner at him.

"Shut up," I groan.

Eren grips the cup of Jo he just set down on the counter and turned his body towards me. As he popped the question, he tilted the cup towards his lips, shielding his mouth from the view of the world.

"So what'd he want, this time?"

I tersely lift my shoulders, "don't know. All he said at the end was to meet him in the fields tonight." I reply.

Eren couldn't help himself but let a teasing, suggestive grin wear his lips. On the inside, I wanted to be flustered as I punched him, as for the outside -- well, I just punched him.

"Ow!" Eren cried out, soothing his shoulder with his other hand, after the punch I gave him. Still, he drowned his lips in his mug, starting to head away from me and out of reach this time.

"You guys are going to get it on." He mutters, but it comes out like a void of swirling bubbles.

I protrude a brow, "what was that?" I challenge.

He quickly shakes his head, a smile slowly stretching his lips out. "Nothing, nothing." He assures me quickly, only making me narrow my eyes at him.

"Sure, it's nothing." I nod, sarcasm evident in my tone.

Eren waves a hand at me in dismissal, exiting the kitchen and disappearing around an archway.

"Just go have fun with Levi," He calls from around the corner.

I sigh to myself, "I hate you, sometimes."

As it turned out, Eren truly supported me in this.

He was even aiding me in sneaking out past the border to get to the fields.

Luckily, there were no guards on duty.

Come to think of it, I don't think our society ever really felt the need to put a guard on duty.

My body was bent at a low angle as I huddled through the bushes, my body inching closer and closer to the barbed barrier. A hood was draped over my face, just in case I was mistaken and there actually were guards posted. With each step bringing me closer, tingles ran over me in anticipation. Something in me was just needing to know what Levi meant.
