you better just lock me up
because i've never been good for nothing

Hope Mikaelson was seven years old when she learned that she had a sister. And unlike her sister, she was not super excited about it. She was nervous, of course it sounded cool that she was going to have a sister but what if that sister did not like her? Then what was she going to do? Sure she could not ask her father to leave her sister, but she was still having her doubts.

That was hell of a change for a seven years old little girl, feeling someone's presence other than her family and calling her family as well. She had greater thoughts than the other seven years olds. That was because of the way she was raised, perfectly, perhaps she was perfect. She was greatest kid in the world, the most special. She had no problem with sharing her burden with her sister as the best and the most unique child in the entire existence.

She looked at the suitcases her uncle was carrying. Her aunt Rebekah was at the car with her other aunt Freya. She looked at them before getting into the car. She looked out from the car. Her aunt Freya next to her was silent unlike Rebekah who was driving their car.

Hope knew it was going to be a long road, but it would be alright, knowing she was going to see her father after that maidenly long time taking way. As she closed her eyes, she was aware that it was her body's self defense mechanism and hoping all of it was a dream, she tried to fall asleep.

When she realized that it was not a dream she decided to keep them closed still. She was tired of all of the drama, she just wished that her father was there, with her. Not a kind of jealousy but an envy surrounded her, and Hope smiled slightly before falling asleep. "This is a horrible idea, she will not even look at my face Elijah, nor yours. Mark my words, she hates us"

"Elena is capable of many things, but one thing she is not is hating someone for so long. Her compassion prevents her from and if she can forgive Klaus I hardly assume she will not forgive you" Rebekah did not say anything, but thought about her brother's words. He was right actually, he was right about it, Elena was able to show forgiveness unlike the rest of her family.

"So, where are we going to stay? I don't think there are enough rooms in Elena's house for all of us" Elijah nodded as he looked at his niece from the front seat, seeing she was asleep, he smiled. "We can stay in a hotel, or I can compel us a house. It would not be an issue"

Freya, now out of questions, looked out of the window and kept her mouth closed for the rest of their twelve hours ride; cursing her siblings mentally for not getting into plane and instead driving.

In Mystic Falls, things were not easy for Elena especially with the Kol so hellbent on killing Enzo. The younger doppelgänger took a deep breath before knocking Klaus' bedroom door. A soft permission to come in left his lips as well as her name. Of course he was able to know she was the one waiting by the door. "Hey, you free?"

"For you? Always. Come in love, take a seat" Elena smiled awkwardly, looking directly at Klaus as she sat down, nervous for some reason. "Hope is coming today" Klaus nodded, not sure why she was so stressed about whatever was about to come out from her mouth. "And will they stay in a hotel?"

"I think so, yes, but what is it bothering you?" Elena sighed and shook her head. "Nothing, nothing bothers me, it is just maybe Hope should stay here. With her father and her sister"

"And her mother" Elena looked stunned as his moved slowly. Mother, Elena was not Hope's mother for sure -nor she intended to be. She was barely enough for Ophelia, or so she thought because whenever Klaus looked at her all he was seeing was an amazing mother who raised an amazing daughter through her heartbreak. "Mother?"
