There was a knock on the door once I got Kailani dressed. "That's nana" I said before walking downstairs with Kailani on my hip.
I opened the front door while Taylin laid on the couch watching cartoons since he was already dressed for the day.
"Hey ma" I said hugging Sherhonda, "Hey baby! Hey Kailani" she said picking her up and I smiled. "Where's my son?"
"Staying with Three" I said shutting the front door and locking it again. "What he do now?"
"Your son is a cheater" I sighed, "Not this shit again"
"That's what I'm saying. Anyways how have you been? I feel like we haven't see you in forever"
"Well considering that you guys live in California now, I've just been chilling in Florida. It feels good not to have my son bothering me every five seconds but I miss my grandbabies" She explained sitting beside Taylin and I nodded.
"I know, we all miss you too. I would've called more but I've been so busy" I sighed, "I know honey and you don't have to apologize for that because I'm here now"
"Are you staying in a hotel?" I asked and she nodded fixing Kailani's shirt. "You know you can stay here right? Plus Kentrell has a show in Maryland next week that we're going to"
"Okay...wait Maryland? What part?"
"Baltimore of course" I sighed, "You're okay with this?"
"Kentrell didn't ask how I felt but I know my mom wants to see Kailani. I haven't talked to her since the argument" I sighed. "You guys really need to work things out"
"She put me out after being in a mental hospital and sent me to Florida-"
"Where you met the love of your life-"
"Yeah who also constantly cheats on me even though we're married now" I cut Sherhonda off. "I'm not even surprised by Kentrell's actions at this point."
"I know you're hurting Madi but after all you guys been through you're just going to give up on y'all?"
"Sherhonda I'm not twenty anymore. Kentrell and I are way too old to be going back and forth with each other. If he can't be in a committed relationship without getting bored or whatever the fuck he be doing then I don't want to be with him"
"Have you guys tried couples therapy?"
"Um no, Kentrell wouldn't even do that. Shit he would probably end up fucking the therapist" I shook my head.
(A/N: HAHA y'all see what I did there😭If you haven't read his therapist you won't get it but I found that soooo funny)
"Madison it wouldn't be that bad"
"Yes it would ma....I just think we should get a divorce"
"Already?! No. Hell no. Y'all been through too much for you guys to just give up on each other."
"Look" she said sitting Kailani on the couch and Sherhonda stood up. She walked over to me and grabbed my hands.
"You and my son are in love. I think you guys should talk things out first and maybe my the therapy before you make those sudden changes" she said and I nodded.
"Ok" I sighed and she smiled. "Good now come on because me and my grandbabies hungry" she said causing me to laugh.
I've really missed Sherhonda....

"Kentrell I don't understand why you're coming to me about this" I sighed, "Cause Yaya I don't know who else to go to" he sighed, "How about um I don't know, maybe your WIFE" I rolled my eyes.
"You mad at me?"
"No I'm not mad" I lied.
"I like Madison but y'all got too much drama and maybe if you wouldn't have lied and married someone who has a rich father and who stabbed a bitch for you then maybe your life wouldn't be like this" I said walking in my kitchen and Kentrell followed me.
"So you is mad?" He asked again and I sucked my teeth turning to face him. "Kentrell, go talk to Madison. I'm sure she'll understand and forgive you"
"Yaya she ain't even answering my calls"
"Then pull up to the house. I mean you do have a key"
"She took it from me"
"Damn she must really be mad" I laughed before walking over to the refrigerator and grabbing a soda. "You ain't helping the situation" he sucked his teeth. "Well I don't want to talk about my ex and his wife's problems"
"Can you talk to Madison for me?"
"Excuse me?! I know I said I like her but that's your wife not mines"
"Iyanna you know I love her"
"I know" I nodded opening the soda and drinking some. "So can you just please help me out? If this were me and you I would do the same thing" he lied and I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, tomorrow though because today I'm busy" I said before he hugged me. "Thank you Yaya" he said while hugging me and I nodded slightly pushing him away.
"Ok now get out of my house. My father is on his way here and you know how he feels about you" I said and Kentrell nodded before leaving the house.
