Madison Gaulden's POV:

"Just listen to itttt" Nisha dragged and I mean mugged her. "No I don't care I'm not listening to his new song" I folded my arms.

"You being so stubborn" she sucked her teeth while I sat down on the couch beside her. "What if I don't like it?"

"Then you just don't like it but at least give it a chance"

"Right" Jania said walking out the kitchen and I sucked my teeth. "Fineee"

I played Kentrell's new song on YouTube on Jania's tv and we all started to listen.

"Countin' money, workin' on myself, that's if you wonder how I been, I been, wishin' if you dealt with someone else
I hope they love you like I did, I did" the song started to play.

"Say you love me, but you can't. The shit you do for me, for another nigga, you do the same"

"Maybe we should turn it off-"

"No listen" Nisha cut me off and I sighed.

"She tried to fake a baby, I ain't trippin' 'bout that girl, I want your love"

"Wait who faked a baby?" I questioned and Jania gave off a confused look too. "Maybe he's talking about Layla"

"Yeah but she's definitely pregnant"

"Maybe it's not his baby" Nisha said and I nodded. "So whys he still with her?"

I paused the song and started to call Kentrell. "Wassup" he answered the phone. "Can we talk?"

"When?"

"Thirty minutes...wanna meet at our favorite restaurant?"

"Yeah I'll be there" he said before I hung up. "Why you do that?" Jania asked in confusion.

"If Layla is really faking a baby on my husband's name then I need to know " I shrugged standing up. "Can Kailani stay here while I go?"

"Of course" Jania nodded.

I walked out the front door and got into my car before heading to the restaurant.

When I got there I parked my car in the parking garage and started to walk down the sidewalk to the place.

I saw Kentrell sitting inside at a table through the window. I walked inside and sat down with him.

"Why you wanted to meet up?" He asked as I sighed and grabbed one of his hands. "Is she faking the baby?" I asked and he stayed quiet.

"Good to know....why are you still there though?"

"Madison you wouldn't understand" he sighed. "Kentrell I'm your wife. Of course I would understand" I nodded.

"You remember Danielle ?"

"As in the one you-"

"Yeah....Layla is her aunt. She has some evidence on me that I did what I did and if I don't stick with her and that baby she'll turn me into the cops" Kentrell explained.

"You're lying"

"Really Madison?" Kentrell tilted his face and I sighed. "So what are we gonna do?"

"We ain't gon do shit. Ima keep playing her little game until I find out what she got on me and you gonna keep being there for our daughter"

"But I want to help-"

"Ain't you tired of ending up in the hospital because of me? Look Mads I need to do this shit on my own for once. After this everything will go back to normal" he assured me.

"How can things be normal Kentrell? What if she gives the evidence to the police"

"Then I'll just have to figure something out. Madison just trust me for once. I know what I'm doing" he said and I nodded letting go of his hand.

"Since we here, you tryna get some food?" He asked and I nodded.

I haven't eaten all day and my stomach is in a knot....

Kentrell's POV:

I got back to my house and Layla was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Mane I'm tired of you just popping up" I sucked my teeth while shutting and locking the front door. "Well doesn't that sound like a you problem" she said still paying attention to the tv.

"This baby could not come any slower" she rubbed her stomach.

"Aren't you ready to meet Kentrell jr?" She smiled. "That ain't my kid so why the fuck you gon name it Kentrell jr?" I scrunched my face.

"You should be glad I want our son to be named after you" she said still playing this little innocent game.

"Layla it's just us here, you can stop saying our" I sucked my teeth. "No I have to say our now that somebody decided he wanted to get all emotional in a song and try to expose me"

"I ain't try to do shit. No one knows who I was talking about when I said that" I shrugged. "Well if they didn't guess me then they would be an idiot...why are you still standing. Come sit down" she smiled and I rolled my eyes going to sit next to her.

"In two months we're all gonna be one happy family" she smiled placing my hand on her belly and I felt the baby kick.

"Then we won't have to worry about any distractions. No more Madison, no more problems" she smiled laying her head on my shoulder.

Yeah ima have to kill this crazy bitch just like I did her niece....
