Madison Gaulden's POV:

"I'm here with Madison Gaulden everyone and today we are going to be talking about her new makeup line" the host of the show said and I smiled.
"So Madison, how have you been?"
"I've been pretty good. Working on myself on focusing more on work and my child" I said adjusting Kailani on my lap as she played games on my phone.
"Yes I know it must be hard now that NBA Youngboy no longer lives with you"
"It's not really 'hard' because he does still help me with taking care of Kailani and making sure I have everything I need but it is different" I nodded.
I really don't feel like being at this interview considering that my husband is stuck with some crazy bitch and it's basically my fault.
Maybe if I hadn't of put him out none of this would've happened. I don't know, I just keep blaming myself and I feel so useless to the situation.
"Madison are you with us?"
"Oh yes I'm sorry. What were you saying?"
"We were talking about your new makeup line" the host smiled and I nodded before adding to the conversation.
After the interview it was already eleven o'clock. I got in the car with Kailani and the driver started to drive us home.
"Mommy, hungry" Kailani said and I nodded. "I know ima get you some food" I said before pulling out my phone.
We made a stop at a gas station and I got out the car. "Im just getting something for us to drink" I said to the driver and he nodded.
"Keep your eyes on her" I said referring to Kailani.
"Yes ma'am" he nodded before I walked into the gas station.
I grabbed me and Kailani a drink before paying and walking out. I walked back to the car and the driver rolled down the back window.
"Here" I said handing Kailani her drink before I heard a car swerve behind me. I turned around and before I could process what was going on gun shots were fired.
I tried ducking down before feeling a sharp pain in my leg and arm as I fell to the ground. Everything started to go red quickly as I heard Kailani's cries from inside the car.
Our driver got out and rushed over to be before I blacked out.

Omniscient POV:
"Where is she?!" Kentrell yelled rushing into the hospital with Jania, Nisha, Iyanna and the gang behind him.
"Sir you have to sign this-"
"Fuck signing shit. Where's my wife?" Kentrell asked looking around. The kids were at Sherhonda's house while everyone else rushed to the hospital after hearing that Madison got shot.
"Sir who is your wife?" The lady at the front desk asked, "Bitch you gotta know who the fuck I am-"
"Kentrell!" Jania cut him off. "Her name is Madison Gaulden"
"You guys unfortunately can't see her right now. She's in surgery" The lady at the front desk explained and Kentrell sucked his teeth.
"Top we can just wait for her right here" Three said as Kentrell shook his head.
"Yo this all my fault" Kentrell said pacing the floor. "Kentrell this isn't your fault, anyone could've done this to her" Nisha said trying to calm Kentrell down but it wasn't working.
Kentrell was too upset, especially because he knows that Layla had something to do with this.
After two hours of sitting in the waiting room the nurse finally came up to everyone. "Family of Madison Gaulden?" The nurse asked and Kentrell stood up. "Is she ok?"
"Well" the doctor sighed. "It was a very difficult surgery, especially because she was shot in two different places but we were able to remove both bullets"
"Thats good news" Jania nodded, "But" the doctor continued while Kentrell gave him a confused look, "She's in a coma"
"Ok so when will she wake up?" Kentrell asked, "It depends on if she wakes up"
"IF?!" Everyone freaked out at the same time, "we're guessing that when she fell she hit her head the car or maybe the ground but she hit her head pretty hard. We are doing everything we can to make sure her and the baby are ok"
"The baby? What baby?" Kentrell asked, "Your wife I'm assuming is three weeks pregnant" the doctor told them and everyone went quiet.
"How can you keep the baby alive if Madison's in a coma?" Jania asked and the doctor sighed.
"We're going to try and make sure that her and the baby have everything they need while she's in the coma"
"Try?! Nigga you better make sure her and my fucking kid stay alive" Kentrell yelled.
"Sir you have to calm down or we're going to have to ask you to leave" The lady at the front desk said.
"Bitch fuck you" Kentrell said walking out the hospital and Nisha followed behind him. "Kentrell wait" she sighed.
"This shit all my fault Nisha. Her and our kid could die"
"Kentrell everything is good to be okay I promise you" Nisha said as they walked in the parking lot and Kentrell came to a stop before turning to face Nisha. Tears were running down his face and all Nisha could do was hug him.
"She's going to be okay" Nisha assured Kentrell as he hugged her back. "Madison is the strongest woman I know. If anyone could get through something like this its her" Nisha said and Kentrell hugged her tighter.
"I know you're scared... we all are but you have to trust the hospital right now and be strong...for Kailani. Her mother is sleeping right now which means you have to step in as her father" Nisha said and Kentrell pulled away from the hug looking down at her and she wiped his tears.
"You ok now?" She asked and he nodded. "Ok lets go back and talk to the doctors" Nisha said grabbing Kentrell's hand and he nodded before they walked back into the hospital.
