Chapter 11

After your visit to windrise, Albedo walked you home; walking to your doorstep. And then he was gone.

You leaned against your door, allowing yourself to slide to the floor. Everything that had transpired was in the heat of the moment, and now thinking back, you realized how you hadn't thought anything through. You weren't used to physical affection at all, thus you were extremely flustered with the events replaying in your head.

But, you were left with one question burning itself into the crevices of your mind.

What did it all mean?

There was no doubt you were extremely attracted to the blond alchemist. Whenever he showed you even a tiny amount of kindness, your heart fluttered. Which made you even more stressed when it occurred to you that he might not even feel the same way

Wait, how do I even feel?

You had been denying it for a while, but you actually did have feelings for Albedo; more than just attraction. 

But what if it's not the same for him-

 What if he's just simply attracted to me, and absolutely nothing else

Or worse yet, maybe he was just using me-

No. That last train of thought wasn't true. You hadn't known Albedo for long, but from what you've seen, he didn't come across as that kind of person.

Standing up, you sighed and decided to head to bed.

Why overthink when you can sleep instead?

And so you did. You decided to find a way to ask Lisa for advice tomorrow without letting her know the full story.

Walking into the Knight's of Favonius' library, your scanned the room for Lisa, your (e/c) eyes eventually locking on the purple clothed woman, currently checking the shelves for a book

"Good morning, Lisa" you said, approaching her

She instantly perked up at your voice, turning around to look at you.

Then, her expression turned into a smug smirk

Uh oh

"Good morning to you as well y/n,"  she smirked even harder "A little birdie told me that you recently visited Dragonspine. I hope that it was fun for you dear."

Oh Archons she knows

Of course she knows, she always catches on

"I- I have absolutely no idea what you mean by fun. I was simply there to finish a commission." you retorted, cringing that you allowed your composed facade to slip.

She shrugged.

"Darling, I just assumed your commissions are quite fun, though, the way that you dodged the question makes me think of something." she said leaning closer to you "Remind me, doesn't a certain alchemist have a camp up there? Did you happen to stop by?~"

The events of that night, flooded into your head causing you to shake your head in a feeble attempt to get rid of them

"My my~ you're so flustered" Lisa said looking closely into your facial features.

"Im- Im not flustered-"

"I should let you know that whenever you're flustered or nervous, you tug on your clothes."
