Summary: John Walker tries to hit on Y/N but he ends up becoming furious when she rejects him, saying she already has a boyfriend. John finds out later that Y/N's "boyfriend" isn't who he thought.

"Hey L/N!" John Walker runs up behind Y/N. She sighs, starting to get annoyed with him. "What Walker?" She says, and turns around. "Why haven't you been answering my texts?" He says, sounding pissed. Y/N crosses her arms. "Because, I gave you my number for work-related issues, not so you could try and pressure me into a date." He flashes a cocky smile. "Well... I figured we could be something more than just work friends." He inches closer to her, and she backs up. "No can do buddy. For a few reasons: A. I don't date people I work with, B. I'm not going to date someone who asks me out to a fast food restaurant, of all places, and C. I already have a boyfriend. So you can take that enlarged ego of yours, and shove it up your ass. Thank you." She turns to walk away when he grabs her right wrist tightly.

"Do you think I was making an offer?" His grip on her wrist becomes tighter when she doesn't answer. "Hey, how about you pick on people who have the same brain level as you? Oh, wait, sorry, I forgot that flies don't have a big enough body for you to strangle." She looks behind John, and John turns around. He lets go of her wrist to see Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes standing behind the two of them. Sam was the one to speak. With his guard down, Y/N gets herself out of Johns grip and kicks him in the balls. He doubles over in pain and taking the opportunity, both of Y/N's hands go to John's back and pull him behind her into the wall. "And there's my fourth reason I'm not going out with you: I'm not dating someone who I can take down in under 10 seconds."

Y/N runs over to Sam and hugs him, and he hugs her back. They separate to see John slowly getting back up. Y/N grabs Sam's hand and John stares at the two of them. "You're dating this guy? The would-be Captain America? You said you wouldn't date anyone you worked with!" She smirks, "I met and started dating Sam before we worked together. Step up your game Walker." She says to him. Sam walks up lets go of her hand and walks up to him. "Stay away from Y/N, or you'll have way more than just a kick to the balls." He walks back and takes Y/N's hand again as the three of them walks towards the nearest exit. "Thank you so much for that save guys, I really needed it." She lets go of Sam's hand and rubs her wrist where John had grabbed her. Sam stops. "Let me see." He motioned for her hand. She gave it to him and he inspects it. "It looks ok, it must just be a little sore tomorrow morning."

She looks deep into his eyes and says, "How did I possibly land you?" Sam takes her hand and holds it again. He shrugs. "I have no idea." They both laugh and Bucky says, "Both of you need to shut it. I feel so single." The three of them laugh again, and they all get a text. They pull out their phones to see they're assigned to a new mission, and they all take off running towards the nearest exit.
